Abstract: An inflatable device for turning or positioning a person in a bed. Abstract: A method of using a cushioned support device includes providing a cushioned support device, which includes a pad having a top surface covering a pair of pontoons configured to extend parallel to a patient's leg. The top surface includes a first material extending along lateral sides of the pad and a second material, different from the first material, covering a center portion of the pad, the second material configured to conform to the patient's leg. The cushioned support device further includes a securing system coupled to the pad. The method further includes placing the patient's leg on the cushioned support device such that the patient's leg is disposed on the pad aligned with the second material and securing, via the securing system, the patient's leg to the pad.

Abstract: A pumping apparatus includes a pump configured for moving air, a housing supporting and at least partially containing the pump, and an air output that includes a hose having a first end connected to the housing and in communication with the pump, such that the pump is configured to move air through the hose, and a second end configured for allowing air to exit the hose, wherein the hose has a length defined between the first and second ends. A switch is mounted on the hose and located along the length of the hose, and the switch is configured for controlling operation of the pump. The switch is located a distance from the second end of the hose that is less than 50% of the length of the hose.
