Abstract: To enable uncompressed RAW data to be appropriately transmitted from an imaging device to an external device. A transmission unit transmits uncompressed RAW data to an external device via a transmission path. In a case where the external device does not support the uncompressed RAW data, the control unit controls the transmission unit so as not to perform output processing for outputting the uncompressed RAW data to the transmission path. For example, the information reception unit receives identification information indicating that the external device supports the uncompressed RAW data from the external device via the transmission path.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program that make it possible to provide a video production service that is highly satisfying to a user.
There is provided an image processing apparatus including: a processing unit that acquires an image to which metadata is added, selects, on the basis of a time length of video to be produced and the metadata, the image to be used for production of the video from the acquired images, the time length being set on a setting screen, and produces the video using the selected image. The present disclosure is applicable to, for example, a cloud server that provides a service via the Internet.
