摘要: A multi-camera system, including a first camera apparatus, and second camera apparatus, and an information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes a communication interface, and processing circuitry that receives a predetermined request from a user while the first camera apparatus captures a first video and the second camera apparatus captures a second video. The processing circuitry, in response to the predetermined request, transmits a first control signal to the first camera apparatus that causes the first camera apparatus to generate a first thumbnail of a frame of the first video, and transmits a second control signal to the second camera apparatus that causes the second camera apparatus to generate a second thumbnail of a frame of the second video. The processing circuitry receives the first thumbnail from the first camera apparatus and the second thumbnail from the second camera apparatus.

By referring to the device specification display, the user may easily specify a desired device, for example, the device in which the abnormality occurs from a plurality of devices.

The first control signal causes the first camera apparatus to assign first unique identifiers to frames of the first video captured by the first camera apparatus. The second control signal causes the second camera apparatus to assign second unique identifiers to frames of the second video captured by the second camera apparatus.

摘要: An information processing apparatus, including circuitry configured to transmit a start instruction to a first camera apparatus and a second camera apparatus. The start instruction causes the first camera apparatus to start incrementing a first counter and the second camera apparatus to start incrementing a second counter for a video recording time period. The circuitry receives, from the first camera apparatus, a first recording-start frame identifier that indicates a value of the first counter and a second recording-end frame identifier that indicates the value of the second counter. The circuitry receives, from the second camera apparatus, a first recording-start frame identifier that identifies a value of the second counter and a second recording-end frame identifier that identifies the value of the second counter.

摘要: An imaging apparatus having no synchronization support function by a time code and to cut down a system cost, in synchronizing respective moving images in the case of outputting and displaying moving images input from a plurality of imaging apparatuses through network transmission. A vertical synchronization signal input from a particular imaging apparatus among a plurality of imaging apparatuses is used as a reference to select frame image data items from moving image data input from the plurality of imaging apparatuses, and the selected frame image data items are integrated into a single stream and sent. Even in a case where the plurality of imaging apparatuses captures videos asynchronously, it becomes possible to select, from the respective moving images, frame images with a small imaging timing difference on the basis of the vertical synchronization signal of the particular imaging apparatus.
