Abstract:
Provided is an information processing device capable of operating in accessibility mode of guaranteeing browsing corresponding to disability or functional degeneration of a body of an operator. A source device checks whether each sink device is in accessibility mode at the time of connection, and determines whether or not metadata for supporting disability (for example, audios, videos, texts, vibration information, or the like) is added to the sink device in the accessibility mode at the time of transmission of original image/audio data. The source device changes a metadata transmission method in accordance with whether the accessibility mode of each sink device is turned on or off.
Abstract:
The present technology relates to a transmission device, a transmission method, a reception device, and a reception method that can enhance the accessibility for people with visual disabilities. The transmission device includes: a text-to-speech utterance metadata generation unit that generates text-to-speech utterance metadata about the text-to-speech utterance of display information as the producer intends; an electronic program information generation unit that generates electronic program information including the text-to-speech utterance metadata; and a transmission unit that transmits the electronic program information to the reception device capable of displaying the display information. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a transmitter capable of transmitting a digital broadcast signal.
Abstract:
Emergency alert information is suitably transmitted by utilizing a broadcast service. A preamble section 31 of a transmission frame having a 100 ms interval includes a tuning data section 31A and a reserved bit section 31B, and is made up of a designated total bit length. The tuning data section 31A stores L1 data for tuning to a relevant broadcast channel on the receiving side. Also, the reserved bit section 31B inside the preamble section 31 stores emergency alert information processed by an emergency alert information processing unit 202. In a predetermined message mode, emergency alert information having a predefined message is expressed in a binary format and transmitted in just one frame.
