An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes an input unit and a control unit. The input unit inputs a first image that is captured by a first imaging apparatus that sets a first imaging space as an imaging target, and a second image that is captured by a second imaging apparatus that sets a second imaging space different from the first imaging space as an imaging target and switched to/from the first image and displayed. The control unit outputs, when the first and second images are switched to each other, a switching moving image reflecting positional relevance between the first and second imaging spaces.

There is provided an information processing apparatus including an obtaining unit configured to obtain a plurality of segments compiled from at least one media source, wherein each segment of the plurality of segments contains at least one image frame within which a specific target object is found to be captured, and a providing unit configured to provide image frames of the obtained plurality of segments for display along a timeline and in conjunction with a tracking status indicator that indicates a presence of the specific target object within the plurality of segments in relation to time.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus includes an input unit, an attention object detection unit, and a calculation unit. The input unit is configured to input a plurality of temporally continuous images taken by an image pickup apparatus. The attention object detection unit is configured to detect an attention object as an attention target from a first image which is an image taken at a first time point out of the plurality of images input. The calculation unit is configured to compare the first image with one or more second images which are one or more images taken at a time point previous to the first time point, to calculate, as a second time point, a time point when the attention object appears in the continuous plurality of images.
