Abstract: A battery device is disclosed. In some implementations, the battery device includes at least one cell assembly including a plurality of battery cells, a housing accommodating the at least one cell assembly therein and including a bottom plate and a sidewall, and a cooling plate configured to transfer heat generated by the cell assembly to outside the cell assembly and disposed between a lower surface of the cell assembly and the bottom plate, wherein the cooling plate includes a gas discharge hole through which gas generated by the cell assembly passes, a gas flow space disposed between the cooling plate and the bottom plate to allow gas discharged through the gas discharge hole to flow, and a blocking member disposed on the cooling plate to block flames or heat in the gas flow space from being transferred to the cell assembly.
