    摘要: A machine tool includes a first machine element movable in a travel direction and having first and second side faces. The first and second side faces of the first machine element run parallel to the travel direction and are oriented at a right angle to each other. The first machine element is moved in the travel direction in a guideway of a second machine element by a drive unit in a positionally controlled manner. The machine tool further includes first and second vibration dampers which are oriented at a right angle to the travel direction and configured to dampen vibrations of the first machine element in respective vibration directions. At least one of the first and second vibration dampers is oriented to solely dampen a vibration in a vibration direction that is neither parallel to the first side face nor parallel to the second side face.

    摘要: A control device of a machine with a plurality of position-controlled axes controls the position-controlled axes in accordance with a part program while processing a system program. Through the control of the position-controlled axes, an end effector is moved along a track defined by the part program via at least one intermediate element relative to a base body of the machine under position control. While processing the system program, the control device checks before control of the position-controlled axes with a parameterizable model of the machine, whether the end effector can move along the track without collisions. Before checking the part program, the control device receives initial measured values characteristic of an actual configuration of the machine, determines parameters of the model based on the initial measured values and parameterizes the model in accordance with the determined parameters.

    摘要: A numerical controller executes a system program. While executing the system program, the numerical controller executes a sub-program. On the basis of the execution of the sub-program, the numerical controller controls position-controlled shafts of a machine tool controlled by the numerical controller. The sub-program contains instruction sets which are retrieved sequentially one after the other by the numerical controller. The numerical controller only executes the retrieved instruction sets when the instruction sets comply with permitted boundary conditions. Otherwise, the instruction sets are not executed. Before executing the sub-program and while executing the system program, the numerical controller receives information defining the permitted boundary conditions via an interface protected from unauthorized access.

    摘要: A machine tool includes a machine control unit to output control signals to drives for machine elements. A tool which machines a workpiece is thereby moved relative to the workpiece in a position-controlled manner. Arranged in a first region of one machine element is an active vibration damper to damp vibration in a second region of the machine elements as the workpiece is machined by the tool. In order to detect the vibration, a first sensor is arranged in the first region of the machine element and a second sensor is arranged on another machine element or in a different region of the one machine element. Actual values detected by the first and second sensors and corresponding target values are supplied to a dual controller which determines on the basis of these values, a resulting manipulated variable for the active vibration damper and actuates the active vibration damper accordingly.

    摘要: Movable elements of a machine are moved by a control device of the machine by controlling drives of the machine. To monitor the movement of the movable elements for collision with each other or with a stationary element, two monitoring devices check, independently from each other, using a computer program, whether there is a risk of collision in the working space. Depending on whether the monitoring devices detect a risk of collision or not, they intervene, independently from each other, in a corrective manner, in the control of the drives or not, and/or independently emit an alarm message or not. The two computer programs are designed in a diverse manner. The two monitoring devices differ from one another. One monitoring device is identical to the control device, while the other monitoring device is embodied as an industrial PC with a data link to the control device.

    摘要: A numerical control system determines iteratively a group of position setpoint values for axes of a production machine based on presets. When no risk of a collision of one moved element with another element exists, the group of position setpoint values is stored in a buffer store. Another already stored group of position setpoint values is read from the buffer store which then controls the axes and moves the element along a path defined by the sequence of the groups of position setpoint values. This process continues for as long as no risk of a collision exists. If a risk of a collision exists, the numerical control system brings the axes to a standstill. Previously unknown real time events are considered only in the determination of the groups of position setpoint values not yet stored in the buffer store. The groups of already stored position setpoint values are not altered.

    摘要: A numerical controller of a processing machine determines corresponding setpoint axis values based on setpoint position values for position-regulated axes operating on machine elements. Before controlling the position-regulated axes, volumes to be occupied by protection bodies associated with the machine elements, a workpiece and a tool are defined and it is checked whether the protection bodies remain disjoint while controlling the position-regulated axes. Depending on the result of the checks, the controller either controls the position-regulated axes in accordance with the setpoint position values or merely executes an error response without control. The controller contains a position error field which specifies for any given setpoint axis value an actual position the tool relative to the workpiece. The position error field is taken into consideration, at least for a subset of the protection bodies, when defining the volumes to be occupied by the protection bodies upon activation of the position-regulated axes.

The control device controls the industrial technical process in an operating cycle.
