摘要： Disclosed herein are compositions comprising: (a) from about 10 wt % to about 87 wt % of at least one crystalline or semi-crystalline polymer, wherein the at least one crystalline or semi-crystalline polymer comprises a crystalline polyester; (b) from about 3 wt % to about 40 wt % of an amorphous polymer resin; (c) from about 10 wt % to about 70 wt % of a reinforcing filler, wherein the at least one crystalline or semi-crystalline polymer may have a lower refractive index than a refractive index of the reinforcing filler when measured using a refractometer, wherein the amorphous polymer resin may have a refractive index value greater than that of the reinforcing filler, and wherein the combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed 100 wt %, and all weight percent values are based on the total weight of the composition.

摘要： A thermoplastic composition includes: (a) poly(cyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate) (PCT) or a copolymer thereof; (b) at least 10 wt % of a reinforcing filler comprising glass fiber; (c) a laser direct structuring (LDS) additive comprising a tin oxide, an antimony oxide, or a combination thereof; and (d) a reflection additive comprising a titanium compound. A weight ratio of total titanium in the composition to the LDS additive in the composition is at least 0.7:1, or a weight ratio of total titanium in the composition to the PCT is 1.1:1 or less.

A weight percent ratio of the hydrocarbon additive to the impact modifier in the composition is 1:1 or lower. The hydrocarbon additive may include saturated carboxylic and acyclic structures. In particular aspects the impact modifier component has a linear, non-polarized polymer structure, and the composition has improved Izod impact properties and/or gloss properties as compared to a reference composition that includes a polarized impact modifier instead of the impact modifier component.

In particular aspects the at least one crystalline polyester includes polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and the polycarbonate copolymer includes a polycarbonate-siloxane (PC—Si) copolymer. In further aspects the at least one reinforcing filler includes glass fiber, and in specific aspects a flat glass fiber. The composition has improved adhesion, surface appearance and/or warpage properties as compared to a comparative composition that does not include the polycarbonate copolymer.
