The method of converting a voice using a voice converting apparatus including receiving a voice from a counterpart, analyzing the voice and determining whether the voice abnormal, converting the voice into a normal voice by adjusting a harmonic signal of the voice in response to determining that the voice is abnormal, and transmitting the normal voice.

A method for processing an audio signal and an audio signal processing apparatus adopting the same are provided. The method for processing an audio signal by a processor comprises matching user information and auditory information, storing matching information indicating that the user information matches to the auditory information, recognizing a user corresponding the user information, searching for the auditory information in response to the user being recognized, and processing the audio signal based on the searched auditory information.
Abstract:
An ultrasound system and a clutter filtering method thereof are provided. The clutter filtering method includes: transmitting an ultrasound signal to an object; receiving a reflection signal reflected from the object; performing a singular value decomposition (SVD) on a plurality of doppler signals constituting the reflection signal; dividing a representation of the object into a plurality of regions according to a result of performing the SVD; determining cutoff frequencies of the plurality of regions according to different methods; and performing clutter filtering on the plurality of regions by using the determined cutoff frequencies.

A method for obtaining an elastic feature of an object includes inducing a first shear wave in the object by transmitting a first push ultrasound signal which is generated by a probe of an ultrasound apparatus and a first grating lobe signal which relates to the first push ultrasound signal toward the object, transmitting a tracking ultrasound signal to an area of the object where the first shear wave has propagated, receiving, from the object, a reflection signal which relates to the tracking ultrasound signal, measuring a first shear wave parameter which indicates a shear wave characteristic of the first shear wave based on the reflection signal, and obtaining an elastic feature of the object by using the first shear wave parameter.

A transverse hairline forming apparatus includes a coil supporting unit to which a stainless steel coil is rotatably disposed; a coil winding unit spaced apart from the coil supporting unit, the coil winding unit holding and winding an end of the stainless steel coil; and at least one pair of surface treatment units disposed between the coil supporting unit and the coil winding unit, the at least one pair of surface treatment units configured to form transverse hairlines on a surface of the stainless steel coil perpendicular to a winding direction of the stainless steel coil. While the stainless steel coil is unwound and rewound on the coil winding unit, when the stainless steel coil passes below the at least one pair of surface treatment units, the at least one pair of surface treatment units form the transverse hairlines on the surface of the stainless steel coil.

Provided are a method and apparatus for localizing a multichannel sound signal. The method includes: obtaining a multichannel sound signal to which sense of elevation is applied by applying a first filter to an input sound signal; determining at least one frequency range of a dynamic cue according to change of a head-related transfer function (HRTF) indicating information regarding paths from a spatial location of an actual speaker to ears of an audience; and applying a second filter to at least one sound signal, corresponding to the determined at least one frequency range, of at least one channel in the multichannel sound signal to change the at least one sound signal so as to remove or to reduce the dynamic cue when the multichannel sound signal is output.

An audio contents recognition method includes receiving an audio signal; obtaining audio fingerprints (AFPs) based on a spectral shape of the received audio signal; generating hash codes for the obtained audio fingerprints; transmitting a matching query between the generated hash codes and hash codes stored in a database; and receiving a contents recognition result of the audio signal in response to the transmitting, wherein the generating of the hash codes includes: determining a frame interval delta_F of an audio fingerprint to generate the hash codes among the obtained audio fingerprints.
