Abstract: According to various embodiments of the disclosure, an electronic device may comprise: a housing including: a first surface, a second surface facing in a direction opposite to the first surface, and a side surface at least partially surrounding a space between the first surface and the second surface; a printed circuit board disposed between the first surface and the second surface; a first sensing element including a plurality of conductive vias arranged in parallel to the side surface in at least a portion of an edge of the printed circuit board; and a grip sensor electrically connected with the first sensing element. The grip sensor may be configured to detect a change in capacitance due to an approach or contact state of an external object to the housing, in at least a portion of the side surface of the housing using the first sensing element.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing surrounding an exterior of the electronic device and including at least one opening, a sensor module including at least one sensor, a sound output device including sound output circuitry configured to output an acoustic-signal through the at least one opening, a memory, and a processor electrically connected to the sensor module and the sound output device, wherein the processor may be configured to: determine whether the electronic device is in a state where a foreign substance has entered into the electronic device through the at least one opening, determine whether the electronic device is in a first disposition state using the sensor module based at least on determining that the electronic device is in the state where the foreign substance has entered into the electronic device, and control the electronic device to output a specified acoustic-signal having a specified frequency band and a specified waveform through the sound output device based on the electronic device being in the first disposition state.

Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed in the present document relate to, an antenna switch for operating in a communication network supporting carrier aggregation (CA), and an electronic device comprising same.
