Abstract: A dryer includes a main body having an opening for an object to be dried to be entered therethrough, a drum arranged inside the main body for accommodating the object entered through the opening, a door opening or closing the opening, an input device configured to receive an input to perform a dehumidification mode, and output a control signal corresponding to the received input, a heat exchanger heating air supplied to the drum, a fan forming a flow of air along a fluid path connected to the drum through the heat exchanger from outside of the main body, and a controller configured to control the fan to introduce air from the outside of the main body to flow along the fluid path in response to the control signal received from the input device.

Abstract: A dryer includes a cabinet, a drum disposed inside the cabinet to accommodate an object to be dried, a first opening disposed on a front side of the cabinet to enable the object to be dried to be placed into the drum, a heat exchanger disposed inside the cabinet to exchange heat with air, a second opening disposed on the front side of the cabinet, and a dehumidification unit. The dehumidification unit is configured to supply outside air to the heat exchanger and air supplied to the heat exchanger is circulated from the heat exchanger into the drum and discharged from the drum to the dehumidification unit. The air discharged from the drum to the dehumidification unit is then discharged outside of the cabinet by the dehumidification unit.

Abstract: A clothes dryer including an improved gasket structure to improve a drying performance. The clothes dryer includes a cabinet, a drum rotatable inside the cabinet, a frame positionable between the cabinet and the drum to support the drum, and a gasket positionable between the drum and the frame. The gasket includes a first member to couple an inlet member of the drum to a vertical surface of the frame while the first member is in contact with the vertical surface of the frame so as to limit a horizontal movement of the drum, and a second member to couple the inlet member of the drum to a horizontal surface of the frame while the second member elastically supports the inlet member of the drum on the horizontal surface of the frame so as to limit a vertical movement of the drum.
