    Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: at least one processor and at least one communication processor. The at least one processor may be configured to: obtain a user equipment (UE) route selection policy (URSP) rule including a first traffic descriptor including a first IP address and a first route selection descriptor corresponding to the first traffic descriptor and request the at least one communication processor to establish a first PDU session corresponding to the first route selection descriptor. The at least one communication processor may be configured to: establish the first PDU session corresponding to the first route selection descriptor in response to the request to establish the first PDU session. A first network interface corresponding to the first PDU session may be established between the at least one communication processor and the at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to identify transmission data from an application executed by the at least one processor, request the at least one communication processor to transmit a first transmission packet including a first source IP address corresponding to the first network interface and the transmission data, through the first network interface, based on a destination IP address corresponding to the transmission data corresponding to the first IP address, and request the at least one communication processor to transmit a second transmission packet including a second source IP address corresponding to a second network interface, different from the first network interface, and the transmission data, through the second network interface, based on the destination IP address corresponding to the transmission data not corresponding to the first IP address.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: at least one processor and at least one communication processor.     Abstract: An electronic device and an operation method of an electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a memory for storing multiple applications including a first application, an edge enabler client (EPC), and multiple domain name system (DNS) caches allocated to each of at least some applications of the multiple applications and/or mapping data obtained by mapping identification information of the at least some applications to the multiple DNS caches; a communication circuit used for a communication connection of an edge service provision server and/or an edge network management server through a base station; and a processor configured to receive, from the first application, an access request for the edge service provision server that the first application desires to access; identify whether a DNS cache corresponding to the first application exits in the multiple DNS caches based on the mapping data and identification information of the first application, acquire an internet protocol (IP) address corresponding to a domain address included in the access request in case that the DNS cache corresponding to the first application exists, and access the edge service provision server based on the acquired IP address and perform the service.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication circuitry, a processor, and a memory. The memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to obtain application information comprising information of at least one application configured to perform data communication using a first packet data network (PDN), establish a first PDN connection to the first PDN and a second PDN connection to a second PDN using the communication circuitry, determine whether a first application, which requests data transmission through the second PDN connection, is an application included in the application information, when the first application is included in the application information, transmit data associated with the first application to the first PDN, and, when the first application is not included in the specified application information, and transmit the data associated with the first application to the second PDN.
