    Abstract: A display device including a substrate, a circuit portion including a thin film transistor on the substrate, a display element on the circuit portion, the display element including a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor, an encapsulation layer covering the display element, a color filter layer on the encapsulation layer, the color filter layer including a black matrix and a color filter, and a light transmission control layer located farther from the display element than the color filter layer in a direction perpendicular to an upper surface of the substrate, the light transmission control layer having light transmittance that varies according to an electrical signal. The light transmission control layer overlaps the black matrix. A width of the light transmission control layer is greater than a width of the black matrix.

    Abstract: An organic light-emitting display device includes a pixel electrode, an emission layer on the pixel electrode, an opposing electrode covering the emission layer, a plurality of upper layers on the opposing electrode, light-shielding elements on the upper layers, and a color filter layer on the upper layers. The light-shielding elements include first light-shielding layers and second light-shielding layers. The first light-shielding layers include first materials, and the second light-shielding layers include second materials different from the first materials. The second light-shielding layers overlay the first light-shielding layers.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a display layer including a plurality of organic light emitting elements, and defining a plurality of light emitting areas and a non-light emitting area surrounding the light emitting areas; and an input sensing layer on the display layer. The input sensing layer includes: a first conductive pattern on the display layer; an insulating layer on the first conductive pattern to cover the first conductive pattern, and defining a plurality of light collecting patterns overlapping with the light emitting areas in a plan view; a second conductive pattern on a top surface of the insulating layer; and an overcoat layer on the second conductive pattern to cover the insulating layer and the second conductive pattern. Each of the light collecting patterns is recessed downward from the top surface of the insulating layer.
