    Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyolefin composition comprising a first heterophasic propylene copolymer and a second heterophasic propylene copolymer, wherein the first heterophasic propylene copolymer comprises: from 70-90 wt % of a first polypropylene having a melt flow index of from 55-85 g/10 min as measured according to ISO 1133 (2.16 kg and 230° C.), from 10-30 wt % of a first ethylene α-olefin copolymer having a melt flow index of from 2.5-5.0 g/10 min in accordance with ISO 1133 (2.16 kg and 230° C.), the respective amounts of first polypropylene and first ethylene α-olefin copolymer being based on the weight of the first heterophasic propylene copolymer and wherein the second heterophasic propylene copolymer comprises: from 60-85 wt % of a second polypropylene having a melt flow index of from 50-100 g/10 min as measured according to ISO 1133 (2.16 kg, 230° C.), from 15-40 wt % of a second ethylene α-olefin copolymer having a melt flow index of from 0.050-0.30 g/10 min in accordance with ISO 1133 (2.16 kg and 230° C.), the respective amounts of second polypropylene and second ethylene α-olefin copolymer being based on the weight of the second heterophasic propylene copolymer, and wherein a weight ratio of said first and second heterophasic propylene copolymer is from 1 to 10. The invention further relates to automotive parts comprising said composition and having good tiger stripe performance.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composition, e.g., for automotive parts, comprising: (A) from 10 to 69 wt. % polypropylene(s); (B) at least 30 wt. % heterophasic propylene copolymer comprising: from 70 to 92 wt. % a propylene-based matrix consisting of a polypropylene, wherein the propylene polymer has an intrinsic viscosity IVPP; from 8 to 30 wt. % dispersed ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having an ethylene content of between 10 and 55 wt and an intrinsic viscosity IVEPR; and wherein the ratio of IVEPR/IVPP is between 3 and 7; C) from 0-30 wt. % ethylene-α-olefin elastomer comprising ethylene and a C3 to C10 α-olefin; D) from 1 up to 30 wt. % talc as a filler; E) from 0-10 wt. % high-density polyethylene (HDPE); and F) from 0-3 wt. % additional additives.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a composition comprising a heterophasic propylene copolymer (A), glass fibers (B) and an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer (C), wherein the α-olefin is chosen from the group of α-olefins having 3 to 12 carbon atoms. The heterophasic propylene copolymer (A) consists of (a) a propylene-based matrix, consisting of a propylene homopolymer and/or a propylene-α-olefin copolymer consisting of at least 85 wt % of propylene and at most 15 wt % of α-olefin, and (b) a dispersed ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, wherein the heterophasic propylene copolymer has a flexural modulus of less than 1000 MPa, wherein the dispersed ethylene α-olefin copolymer (b) has an average rubber particle size d50 of at most 1.15 μm as determined by scanning electron microscopy, and wherein the total amount of (b) the dispersed ethylene-α-olefin copolymer in the heterophasic propylene copolymer (A) and the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer (C) is 30 to 60 wt % based on the total composition.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising a heterophasic propylene copolymer and an ethylene polymer wherein the ethylene polymer has a density as measured according to ISO 1183-1 (2012), method A of ≥940 kg/m3, the ethylene polymer has a multimodal molecular weight distribution and the ethylene polymer has a strain hardening modulus of ≥5.0 MPa, the strain hardening modulus being measured according to ISO DIS 18488 (2014) using test specimens of 0.30 mm thickness. Such composition has a low surface gloss, while at least one of impact strength, scratch resistance and/or flexural modulus is improved. Such composition may for example be used in automotive interior parts.
