    Abstract: Load carriage systems are described including one or more of a first chest panel, a first back panel, and a self-adjusting cummerbund connecting the first chest panel and the first back panel. The self-adjusting cummerbund may include a tensioning mechanism configured to allow the cummerbund to extend and retract, and may be configured to provide varying resistive force. The tensioning mechanism may include one or more of a sliding portion, a continuous patterned length of material that is folded over itself, and an elastic member that is attached to the sliding member and the length of material. Body armor plates may be held between outer and inner chest panels and/or between outer and inner back panels. A strip of webbing may be used to secure the body armor plate between the outer and inner panels.

    Abstract: Various clips for mounting accessories to rails, tracks and/or other mounts are described. In some examples, a clip may include a first part and a second part configured to at least partially cooperate with the first part to apply pressure to opposite sides of the rail, track or other mount. A tensioning mechanism may be configured to pull the first part and the second part together and/or to push the first part and the second part apart. A third part that may be configured to rotate with respect to the first part and/or the second part from an open position to a closed position, and to cooperate with the tensioning mechanism to pull the first part and the second part together and/or to push the first part and the second part apart. The third part may include a cam that is configured to increase a pressure applied by the first part and the second part to the rail, track or other mount when the third part is closed.

    Abstract: Accessory holders are described having a mounting portion that attaches the accessory holder to wearable support structure, and a carrier frame that holds a first personal accessory. A rotating arm connects the carrier frame to the mounting portion. The carrier frame includes a retaining mechanism, such as an elastomeric strap, nylon webbing, hook and loop fasteners, etc., for holding the first personal accessory to the carrier frame. The arm includes a hinge configured to allow the carrier frame to move between a folded position and an unfolded position with respect to the mounting portion and the mounting portion includes attachment means, such as attachment or mounting straps, spear fittings, hook and loop fasteners, etc., for securing the accessory holder to the wearable support structure.
