Abstract:
A method of installing a ball seat in a wellbore, comprising conveying the ball seat via a support member of a tool to a target location in the wellbore; moving an expansion sleeve longitudinally with respect to the tool to expand the ball seat radially to engage the ball seat to a support structure of the wellbore at the target location; and releasing the support member from the engaged ball seat.
Abstract:
High reliability electrical connections between a helical strand and flat electrodes, such as strip electrodes found in implantable neurostimulator system, are described. The connection consists of a crimp joint in which an inside diameter mandrel is used to provide the coil with sufficient radial rigidity to ensure structual intergrity of the crimp. The mandrel is made of a relatively soft biocompatible material that deforms rather than damages the fine wires of the helical strand during crimping. The crimp is biocomplished by radial deformation of an annular or semi-annular crimping member that receives the helical strand/mandrel assembly.
Abstract:
The present invention provides aqueous dispersions that, for example, include the reaction product of an oxirane-functional vinyl addition polymer having an oxirane functionality between 0.5 and 5; an acid-functional polymer having an acid number 30 to 500; and a tertiary amine. Also described are coating compositions containing the dispersion and methods of forming the dispersion.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of making an aqueous coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of an epoxy acrylate resin and a polymerized reactive diluent. The aqueous coating composition preferably has a volatile organic compound content of no greater than 0.4 kilogram per liter of solids.

Abstract:
A method and system for using web services to notify a subscriber that an event has occurred at a voice mail switch and to retrieve the event is described. A notification server receives an event and an associated identifier from the voice mail switch. The identifier is correlated to a subscriber and an alert indicating that the event occurred is generated. The alert is sent to a destination selected by the subscriber. The alert includes an event reference that links the subscriber to the event through a network via a URL. The subscriber retrieves the event through a web portal view associated with the URL.
Abstract:
An actuation trigger including a housing; a piston in operable communication with the housing; a pressure source inlet to the trigger the piston being responsive to source pressure cycles; a first one-direction axial incrementing feature movable with piston movement; a rod movable with the piston and positionally restricted by the one-direction axial incrementing feature, the rod initially being part of a dynamic seal preventing actuation pressure access to a tool actuatable by the actuation pressure.
Abstract:
A tubular includes an outer surface, an inner surface defining a passage, and a plurality of openings extending through the outer surface and the inner surface. A sleeve is positioned within the passage. The sleeve includes an outer surface portion having at least one recess. At least one release member extends from the inner surface into the at least one recess. The at least one release member maintains the sleeve in a first configuration relative to the plurality of openings. At least one of the inner surface and the outer surface portion includes a self-holding connection that establishes one of a reduced diameter portion of the passage and an increased diameter portion of the sleeve. The self-holding connection is configured to maintain the sleeve in a second configuration axially shifted relative to the first configuration.

Abstract:
An indicating tool includes a mandrel including a support, an indicator housing surrounding the mandrel, and a member movable radially with respect to the housing. The mandrel is movable longitudinally with respect to the indicator housing, and the indicator housing is at least substantially rotationally locked with respect to the mandrel. The member is engageable with an inner profile of an outer tubular in which the indicating tool is employed, and the member has a substantially helical side. The member is movable radially inward towards the mandrel when the support is longitudinally displaced from the member, and the member is blocked from movement radially inwards when the support is longitudinally aligned with the member.
