Abstract:
Additional license plate identification display configurations, providing official license plate vehicle identification and motorist choice of new indicia personalization. The new identification indicia is compatible with, or in lieu of, all present alphanumeric license plate displays. The identification marks and symbol indicia are embossed or are computer generated, duplicating the alphanumeric placement process on both sequential and personalized motor vehicle license plates.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to an improved government issued license plate and financial institution issued debit/credit card containing new identification indicia. The new identification indicia includes non-alphanumerics, mainly conventionally recognized symbols. The license plate and debit/credit card can either contain a combination of alphanumeric and non-alphanumeric identification indicia, or can solely contain non-alphanumeric identification indicia. The identification indicia can be embossed or computer generated, duplicating the alphanumeric placement process used on both motor vehicle license plates and debit/credit cards.
Abstract:
A flexible plastic license plate-like panel for bonding to a motor vehicle with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The panel has a main, approximately rectangular, area on which the conventional license numbers and letters are printed, with an area above or below that area for purchaser personalized information provided. The panel has a central extension extending beyond the top of the approximately rectangular area for stickers showing information such as state identification, or month, year of expiration, etc. One of the front and back surfaces of the panel is coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive. Where the adhesive is on the back, the panel will be bonded to the vehicle bumper or other exterior part. Where the adhesive is on the front, the panel will be bonded to the inside surface of a window, to be visible from outside the vehicle. A security strip may be formed by using a strip having a different tack across the adhesive coated surface. Also, a central non-tacky area can be provided in the adhesive coated surface to aid in mounting the panel on a structure.
Abstract:
A device for the recognition of caries, plaque or bacterial infection on teeth, which includes a light source for generating an excitation radiation which is to be directed onto a tooth to be investigated and producing an fluorescence radiation at the tooth. Also included is a detection device for detecting the fluorescence radiation of the tooth, and a spectral filter arranged in front of the detection device, wherein the wavelength of the excitation radiation emitted from the light source lies within the range of between 640 and 670 nm.
