    摘要: A titanium grid is used to support the positive electrode of lead peroxide while the negative porous lead electrode is supported on either a copper or titanium grid in a lead-lead-acid storage battery. A small quantity of titanyl sulfate is added to the aqueous sulfuric acid electrolyte to inhibit dissolubility of the titanium therein. In one battery embodiment the electrolyte is immobilized by gelling and confined between the electrodes while the assembly is surrounded with an insulating wrapping and sealed hermetically in a quantity of cured epoxy resin.
