Abstract:
There is provided an electrical-energy harvester for a display panel, the harvester comprising: a transparent and flexible lower electrode; a transparent and flexible piezoelectric layer on the lower electrode; reflective particles dispersed in the piezoelectric layer for reflecting light beams incident into the piezoelectric layer; a transparent and flexible upper electrode on the piezoelectric layer, wherein the upper and lower electrodes are opposite to each other; and at least one solar cell disposed on at least one lateral side of the piezoelectric layer, wherein at least one solar cell is configured to receive the light beam reflected from the reflective particles and, thus, to generate electrical energy.
Abstract:
A triboelectric energy harvester comprises an electrode, a non-conductor, a first conductor, and a second conductor. The non-conductor is disposed on the electrode. The first conductor is disposed on the non-conductor. The second conductor frictionally contacts the first conductor. The frictional contact between the first and second conductors creates triboelectric energy.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a triboelectric energy generator using an ultrasonic waves, and an implantable treatment device for suppressing spread of tumor including the triboelectric energy generator. The generator includes a substrate; a first triboelectric member disposed on the substrate; and a second triboelectric member disposed above and spaced apart from the first triboelectric member, wherein the first triboelectric member and the second triboelectric member are made of different materials, wherein when an ultrasonic wave is applied to a top face of the second triboelectric member, the second triboelectric member is constructed to alternately contact and non-contact the first triboelectric member, thereby to generate triboelectricity.
Abstract:
There is provided a tactile feedback device comprising: an array of surface charge generation units; and an array of pressure-generation units, wherein the array of the pressure-generation units is spaced apart from the array of the surface charge generation units, wherein the array of the pressure-generation units is movable relative to the array of the surface charge generation units, wherein an attractive or repulsive force is generated between a corresponding surface charge generation unit of the array of surface charge generation units and a corresponding pressure-generation unit of the array of the pressure-generation units, based on a polarity of surface charges induced in the corresponding surface charge generation unit.
Abstract:
There is provided an electric energy generator system comprising: an ultrasonic-wave emission device configured to generate an ultrasonic-wave and emit the ultrasonic-wave; and an electric energy generator device configured to generate an electric energy upon a receipt of the emitted ultrasonic-wave.
Abstract:
Provided are a triboelectric energy generator using a control of a dipole polarization direction and a method of fabricating the same. The present invention controls a direction of a charging property generated by friction through a control of a dipole polarization using a ferroelectric or piezoelectric property of a material, and by using this control, the present invention is related to a triboelectric energy generator in a disk type in which a frictional charging material is slidable on a thin film only using control of a dipole polarization without need of an additional patterning process and output power is improved.
