Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe receiving control data for a slot of a first wireless service, where the control data indicates one or more partial slots of the slot that are intended for communications of the first wireless service. An indicator indicating whether data of the first wireless service is transmitted over at least one of the one or more partial slots can be received at a different time than the control data. The data of the first wireless service over the at least one of the one or more partial slots can be decoded based at least in part on the indicator.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A traffic window may be scheduled for a user equipment (UE) base on semi-persistent scheduling (SPS). In various situations, all or a portion of a first communication to be transmitted or received can be transmitted or received during an SPS grant in the traffic window. If useful, additionally, a remainder of the first communication not transmitted or received during the SPS grant may be transmitted in an on-demand grant appended to the SPS grant. The on-demand grant can be in a same subframe as the SPS grant. When the BS appends the on-demand grant to the SPS grant, the BS may transmit, and the UE may receive, an indicator indicating that the on-demand grant has been appended to the SPS grant. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device may receive an indicator of retransmission scheduling for a plurality of UEs, determine, based on a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) update in the indicator, resources for receiving a retransmission, and receive the retransmission on the determined resources. A base station may receive a negative acknowledgement report from at least one UE of a plurality of UEs, determine a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) update for the at least one UE, generate an indicator of retransmission scheduling for the plurality of UEs, the indicator including the MCS update for the at least one UE, and transmit the indicator.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques to reduce overhead and improve resource management by efficiently selecting RSMA spreading code for periodic traffic in IoE devices. For example, in accordance with one technique, the IoE device, during an initial access to the base station, may notify the base station of the traffic periodicity of the IoE device such that the base station may assign a spreading code from a dedicated pool that is not utilized during the periodic access of the device. Additionally or alternatively, another technique to reduce overhead and improve resource management may include the IoE devices broadcasting the selected RSMA spreading code that the IoE devices intends to use in discovery broadcasts (DBs) along with the IoE device traffic periodicity such that the IoE devices may autonomously manage selection of RSMA spreading code that avoids collisions for the same traffic periodicity.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a BS transmits, on a set of resources, a first communication to each of a plurality of UEs. The BS receives ACKs to the transmitted first communications from a first subset of UEs, and determines that a second subset of UEs fails to ACK the transmitted first communication (e.g., via implicit or explicit NACKs). The BS configures a group scheduling message that indicates an allocation of the set of resources to the second subset of UEs (e.g., a different subset of the set of resources being allocated to each UE in the second subset of UEs) based on a predetermined resource reallocation scheme. The BS transmits the group scheduling message to the second subset of UEs, and transmits, on the set of resources, a second communication to each UE in the second subset of UEs in accordance with the indicated allocation from the group scheduling message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device may receive an indicator of resource allocation for a plurality of UEs, determine, based at least on a grouping of the plurality of UEs, resources from the resource allocation for receiving data at the UE, and receive the data on the determined resources. A base station may receive a plurality of acknowledgement reports from a plurality of UEs, determine, based on a grouping of the plurality of UEs, a resource allocation for each UE from which a negative acknowledgement was received, and transmit an indicator of the resource allocation.

Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure relate to retransmission techniques for communication of information (e.g., for wireless communication). In some aspects, if a device's first transmission including encoded data and parity information (subject to puncture) fails, the device's retransmission (e.g., in response to a NAK) involves transmitting the parity information that was punctured. In some aspects, the coding rate used for encoding the data for the first transmission is selected to meet an error rate (e.g., a block error rate) for the second transmission. The second transmission may also include repetition information that includes the encoded data. The repetition information could also include at least a portion of the encoded parity information.
