摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network entity, a first signal including a request to update a resolution of a phase shifting operation associated with beam-based communications. The UE may receive, from the network entity, a second signal approving the request. The UE may communicate using a beam according to an updated resolution of the phase shifting operation based on the second signal approving the request. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may transmit a first signal including a request to suspend a beam refinement process based on the resolution of the phase shifting operation. The UE may receive a second signal approving the request to suspend the beam refinement process. The UE may communicate with the network entity using a beam based on suspending further beam refinement in response to the second signal.

摘要: A system for power amplifier control includes a processor, a memory in communication with the processor, wherein the processor and the memory are configured to simultaneously provide input signal strength of each of a plurality of power amplifiers in a millimeter wave (mmW) phased array system, determine an average input signal strength of the plurality of power amplifiers based on the provided input signal strengths using an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), determine a voltage headroom for the plurality of power amplifiers based on the determined average input signal strength, estimate a power backoff value based on the voltage headroom, and determine a gain control value based on the estimated power backoff value.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support adaptation of digital pre-distortion (DPD) coefficients based on a temperature of a user equipment (UE). The UE may determine a power offset value based on a first temperature value associated with a training procedure for the UE, a second temperature value associated with the UE, and a constant value. The training procedure may be associated with multiple sets of coefficients for the UE. The UE may apply the power offset value to a transmission power level for transmission of a message. The UE may determine a set of coefficients of the multiple sets of coefficients based on the training procedure and the power offset value applied to the transmission power level. The UE may apply the coefficients to a DPD engine of the UE to generate the message for transmission at the transmission power level.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to an apparatus for wireless communication. The apparatus may include a set of power detectors configured to generate a set of analog signals related to a set of output signal power levels of a set of transmit chains of a transmitter, respectively; an analog summer; a set of switching devices configured to send a selected one or more of the set of analog signals to the analog summer, and substantially isolated unselected one or more of the set of power detectors from the analog summer, wherein the analog summer is configured to generate a cumulative analog signal based on a sum of the selected one or more of the set of analog signals; an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) configured to generate a digital signal based on the cumulative analog signal; and a controller configured to control the set of switching devices.
