    Abstract: A UE may identify, during a first DRX ON period immediately preceding an existing DRX OFF period, that a first condition is met. The UE may transmit, to a network node, and the network node may receive, from the UE, a request to extend the first DRX ON period based on the first condition being met. The network node may transmit, to the UE, and the UE may receive, from the network node, an indication of approval of the request to extend the first DRX ON period. The UE and the network node may delay a beginning of the existing DRX OFF period by a first time period based on the approval of the request to extend the first DRX ON period.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for air interface and sidelink discontinuous reception alignment for inactive/idle user equipment. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a second user equipment at a first user equipment over a sidelink interface, discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration assistance information and transmitting, from the first user equipment to a network via an air interface, the DRX configuration assistance information. The method may further include receiving, from the network at the first user equipment via the air interface: modified air interface DRX configuration information for the first user equipment, and sidelink DRX configuration information for the first user equipment and the second user equipment, wherein the sidelink DRX configuration information is based on the DRX configuration assistance information; and transmitting, from the first user equipment to the second user equipment over the sidelink interface, the sidelink DRX configuration information.

    Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to determining and/or scheduling resources for devices in view of cross-channel interference measured between the devices. In an aspect, a first user equipment (UE) can determine a signal measurement of a signal transmitted by a second UE in a first channel, determine, based at least in part on the signal measurement, a cross-channel interference parameter of interference experienced by the first UE, and transmit, to a serving base station that serves the first UE, an indication of the cross-channel interference parameter. In another aspect, a base station can determine a cross-channel interference parameter of interference experienced by a first UE in at least a first channel, based on a signal transmitted by a second UE in a second channel, and can schedule communications for the first UE based at least in part on the cross-channel interference parameter.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first network node (e.g., a first user equipment (UE)) may determine a first sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) priority assigned to the first network node, wherein the sidelink DRX priority is based on one or more criteria associated with the first network node. The first network node may communicate on a sidelink channel using a first set of one or more DRX configurations based on the first sidelink DRX priority assigned to the first network node, wherein the first set of one or more DRX configurations are at least partially aligned in time with a second set of one or more DRX configurations of a second network node (e.g., a second UE) assigned a second sidelink DRX priority that is equivalent to the first sidelink DRX priority.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A target user equipment (UE) may communicate (e.g., transmit, receive) a message indicating a relay UE for relaying wireless communications between the target UE and a base station. The relay UE is selected from a set of candidate relay UEs based on existing sidelink relay communication links at the relay UE, candidate target UEs associated with the relay UE, existing communication sidelinks between the target UE and the candidate relay UEs, or any combination thereof. The target UE may receive a first control signal indicating a sidelink relay communication link for communicating messages between the first UE and the base station via the relay UE, and receive a second control signal activating the sidelink relay communication link. The target UE may then communicate a message to or from the base station via the relay UE and the sidelink relay communication link.
