    摘要: To measure, in a reference frame, angular displacements of a privileged axis tied to a carrier, angular velocities or angular increments of the carrier are measured about two axes tied to the carrier, which axes are orthogonal to each other and at an angle of about 90.degree. the privileged axis. Said mutually orthogonal axes are caused to rotate at high speed about said privileged axis. The angular positions of said mutually orthogonal axes about the privileged axis are determined continuously relate to a reference position. Their angular displacements are calculated by integrating their angular velocities while taking account of said angular positions of the orthogonal axes about the privileged axis.

    摘要: A rate gyro or a gyroscope includes a resonator having four mutually parallel identical beams integral with a common square base and projecting from the base at corners of a virtual square. The beams have a same resonant frequency in two directions parallel to the two sides of the square base. It further has first transducers for vibrating each beam in a first direction orthogonal to the beams, connected to a driving circuit and second transducers for detecting an amplitude of vibration of the beams in a second direction each orthogonal to a respective first direction.

    摘要: The gyroscopic sensor has a bell-shaped resonator which is fixed along its axis on a substrate. It has a circular edge lying in a plane perpendicular to the axis and at a distance from the point where the resonator is fixed. The substrate carries detection and excitation electrodes that co-operate with the resonator. The detection electrodes are sensitive to an axial component of resonator vibration and the energization electrodes cause vibration at resonance by exerting axial forces.
