Abstract: An intraoral camera includes an imaging unit, an illuminator, and an illumination controller. The imaging unit generates image data by capturing an image of a tooth inside the mouth of a user. The illuminator illuminates the tooth. The illumination controller controls at least one of the illumination intensity or the color temperature of the illuminator to bring the color temperature of reflected light from the tooth that is based on the image data, closer to a target color temperature based on the second color temperature of the illuminator.

Abstract: A shutter speed determination device includes a motion detector and controller. The motion detector, on a block-by-block basis having a specified block size, performs detection processing of a motion vector for image data obtained by capturing a subject image. The controller, while reducing the block size, causes the motion detector to execute the detection processing repeatedly, each time executing the detection processing the controller finds a motion vector related value that changes in a same direction as a direction in which a magnitude of the motion vector changes, the controller determines a shutter speed used when capturing the subject image thereafter, based on the motion vector related value found.

Abstract: An imaging device includes: an imaging element that outputs an image signal in a nondestructive manner; an image processor that performs predetermined processing on the outputted image signal to generate image data; and a controller that controls the image processor. Under control of the controller, the image processor reads out image signals from the imaging element a plurality of times within one exposure period, calculates a target gain value based on a target level and an added signal, and multiples the added signal by the target gain value to generate the image data. The target level is calculated based on a signal level of a last read-out image signal in one exposure period. The added signal being obtained by adding up the image signals read out the plurality of times.

Abstract: An image processing method includes: obtaining a first RGB image generated by capturing an image of a tooth and dental plaque that are fluorescing in response to exposure to light including a blue-light wavelength range; and generating a second RGB image by performing, for the first RGB image, image processing including first image processing. In the first image processing, the gains of at least two color components among the red component, the green component, and the blue component of an RGB image to be processed are adjusted so as to equalize the first red pixel average value of red pixel values, the first green pixel average value of green pixel values, and the first blue pixel average value of blue pixel values, the red pixel values, the green pixel values, and the blue pixel values being the pixel values of first pixels corresponding to the tooth.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes an imaging part to capture a subject so as to generate image data, an image processor to generate first image data having a first dynamic range relating to brightness based on the image data, a display being not compatible with reproduction of the image having the first dynamic range but being compatible with reproduction of an image having a second dynamic range narrower than the first dynamic range, and a controller to control a display of an image indicated by the first image data. The controller has a first mode in which when the first image data is displayed on the display, the controller converts a color gamut of the first image data to a color gamut with which the display is compatible without converting a gamma characteristic of the first image data.

Abstract: An image processing device includes: a first color conversion processor configured to perform first color conversion processing on image data; a second color conversion processor configured to perform second color conversion processing on the image data; a coefficient calculator configured to calculate a coefficient indicating a blend ratio between an output of the first color conversion processor and an output of the second color conversion processor; and a blend processor configured to blend the output of the first color conversion processor and the output of the second color conversion processor based on the ratio indicated by the coefficient, wherein the coefficient calculator calculates a position on an xy chromaticity diagram of a color indicated by each pixel in image data processed by the first color conversion processor to determine the coefficient based on a distance from the calculated position to a boundary of a color gamut.
