Abstract: An imaging apparatus according to the present disclosure includes an imaging unit configured to generate image data by imaging an object image; a displaying unit configured to display the image data and a focus area superimposed on the image data, the focus area being a set of a plurality of focus frames; a determination unit configured to determine a number and positions of arbitrary focus frames selected from the focus area; and a control unit configured to control the imaging unit and the determination unit, and to perform focus processing on an image. The control unit performs the focus processing according to a plurality of selected focus frames when the determination unit determines that the plurality of selected focus frames are located at positions not adjacent to each other.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes: an imager to capture a subject image to generate an image signal; an image processor to perform predetermined processing on the image signal to generate image data; a display to display luminance level information showing a luminance level in the image; an operation receiver to input a user operation; and a controller to control the display and the operation receiver. The image processor generates the image data using a predetermined gamma curve in which a light amount in the image signal is associated with a luminance level to compress as the light amount increases. When the operation receiver receives a user operation for setting a luminance level in the luminance level information, the controller controls the display to represent the luminance level by a stop number indicating a scaling rate of a corresponding light amount in the gamma curve.

Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a display, an operation receiver, and a controller. The display displays a menu screen including menu items. The operation receiver receives a user operation on the menu screen. The controller controls the display according to the user operation via the operation receiver. In a case where an unsent piece of image data is present in the recording medium when the communication unit automatically establishes a new connection with a first external apparatus, when the first external apparatus is identical to an external apparatus having been connected with the communication unit at a time of generation of the unsent piece of the image data, of a plurality of external apparatuses, the controller allows the communication unit to automatically transfer the unsent piece of the image data to the first external apparatus. When the first external apparatus is different from the external apparatus having been connected with the communication unit at the time of generation of the unsent piece of the image data, the controller forbids the communication unit to automatically transfer the unsent piece of the image data to the first external apparatus.
