Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and an electrolytic solution. The capacitor element includes: an anode body including a dielectric layer; a cathode body; and a solid electrolyte in contact with the dielectric layer. The electrolytic solution includes a solvent, a solute, and a polymer component. The solvent includes an ethylene glycol compound. The polymer component includes polyalkylene glycol. The polyalkylene glycol includes at least one of (i) a mixture of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene and (ii) an oxyethylene-oxypropylene copolymer. In the polyalkylene glycol, a molar ratio m/n of oxyethylene units to oxypropylene units is greater than 1.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and electrolytic solution. The capacitor element includes an anode body with an oxide film, and a solid electrolyte contacting the oxide film. The electrolytic solution contains a solvent and a solute. The solvent contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a lactone compound, a glycol compound, and a sulfone compound. The solute includes a first acid component and a base component. The first acid component includes at least one of a benzenedicarboxylic acid and a derivative of the benzenedicarboxylic acid. The base component includes at least one of an amine and an amidine. A concentration of the solute in the electrolytic solution ranges from 15% by mass to 40% by mass, inclusive. A ratio (V/Vw) of a formation voltage V of the oxide film to a rated voltage Vw of the electrolytic capacitor is less than or equal to 1.7.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor including a capacitor element, and a liquid component. The capacitor element includes an anode body having a dielectric layer at a surface of the anode body, and a conductive polymer component covering part of the dielectric layer. The liquid component contains a first solvent, a base component, and an acid component. The first solvent is at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyol and a derivative thereof. The base component contains a first base a conjugate acid of which has an acid dissociation constant of 5 or more and 10 or less and which has no boiling point or a boiling point of 100° C. or higher.

The capacitor element includes an anode body provided with a dielectric layer on its surface, and a conductive polymer that covers a portion of the dielectric layer. The sealing body includes an elastic polymer. An antioxidant component is present in a space closed by the container and the sealing body. The antioxidant component includes a first antioxidant having no boiling point or a boiling point of 320° C. or higher.
