Abstract:
A power storage device has a columnar wound body in which a first and second electrode are placed on top of another with a separator interposed therebetween. The first electrode has a first portion, a second portion, and a first connection portion that connects the first and second portion, and the first and second portion face each other. The first connection portion is provided in a band region of the first current collector along the winding direction of the wound body, as a first exposed portion not having the first active material layer and exposing the first current collector. The first and second portions are portions each having the first active material layer at both sides of the first connection portion. The second electrode is sandwiched by the first portion and the second portion with the separator interposed therebetween, and wound along the winding direction to form the wound body.
Abstract:
A power storage device includes a first electrode having a strip first current collector and a first active material layer carried on the first current collector, a second electrode having a strip second current collector and a second active material layer carried on the second current collector, and a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first electrode, the second electrode, and the separator form a columnar wound body. The first current collector has a plurality of first tabs electrically connected to one end along the longitudinal direction of the first current collector and extending radially inward of the wound body. The first tab has a proximal end portion connected to the first current collector, and a first wide portion wider than the proximal end portion. The plurality of first tabs are overlapped and welded to each other at their first wide portions.
Abstract:
A battery including: a battery can including a cylinder portion including an opening edge portion at one end portion of the cylinder portion and a bottom portion that closes the other end portion of the cylinder portion; an electrode body; a sealing member that seals an opening of the opening edge portion. The sealing member includes: a sealing plate; a cap connected to the sealing plate and electrically insulated from the sealing plate; and a sealing portion sealing a space between the cylinder portion and the cap. The cap includes: a ring-shaped top plate portion opposing the opening edge portion in an axial direction of the cylinder portion; and a side wall portion covering an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder portion. The sealing portion may be a gasket provided between the cap and the cylinder portion in a compressed state. The cap is electrically connected to the cylinder portion.
Abstract:
A power storage device includes a first electrode having a first current collector, a second electrode having a second current collector, and a separator, which form a columnar wound body. The power storage device includes a cylinder covering an outer periphery of the columnar wound body and having a first opening, a sealing body sealing the first opening, and at least one first tab, its one end connected to the first current collector and the other end connected to the sealing body. The sealing body has a first member including a first face facing away from the columnar wound body, and a second member including a second face facing the columnar wound body. The other end of the first tab is welded to the first face of the first member to form a first welding portion that is positioned between the first face and the second face.
Abstract:
A power storage device includes a first electrode having an elongated sheet first current collector, and a first active material layer carried on the first current collector, an elongated sheet second electrode, a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, a non-aqueous electrolyte, and a first current collecting portion electrically connected to the first current collector, wherein the first electrode, the second electrode, and the separator form a columnar wound body, one end portion along a longitudinal direction of the first current collector is a first exposed portion not having the first active material layer and projected from one end face of the wound body, the first current collecting portion has a porous metal portion, and one or more projected portions that are pressed into the porous metal portion, and the porous metal portion fills the gap of the first exposed portion.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a battery including: a battery can including a cylinder portion including an opening edge portion at one end portion thereof and a bottom portion closing the other end portion of the cylinder portion; an electrode body housed in the cylinder portion; and a sealing member fixed to the cylinder portion to seal an opening of an opening edge portion. The sealing member includes a lid portion covering the opening of the opening edge portion. A first engagement portion is formed in the end portion of the cylinder portion on the opening edge portion side, and a second engagement portion is formed in an end portion of the lid portion on an outer circumferential side. A first surface of the first engagement portion and a second surface of the second engagement portion are bonded, with the first surface and the second surface overlapping each other.
Abstract:
A line member connection device which applies an adhesive tape includes: a supply reel which supplies the adhesive tape; a cutter which cuts the adhesive tape drawn from the supply reel; and an intermediate roller via which the adhesive tape drawn from the supply reel is directed to the cutter, the intermediate roller being disposed between the supply reel and the cutter, wherein in cross section taken along a rotation axis of the intermediate roller, a surface of the first roller which supports the adhesive tape is shaped to have a straight section parallel to the rotation axis, and a first inclined section inclined relative to the rotation axis.
