Abstract: A power transmitter wirelessly transmits electric power to a power receiver that includes a reception antenna. The power transmitter includes: an inverter circuit; a transmission antenna which sends out the AC power having been output from the inverter circuit; and a control circuit which, based on measurement values of voltage and current to be input to the inverter circuit, determines a value of a control parameter defining an output voltage from the inverter circuit and controls the inverter circuit by using the determined value of the control parameter. When at least one of the measurement values of voltage and current to be input to the inverter circuit changes, the control circuit changes the value of the control parameter based on the measurement values of voltage and current so that a voltage to be output from the power receiving circuit is maintained within a predetermined range.

Abstract: The operation of a wireless power transmission system is to be stabilized. A wireless power supply unit includes a power transmitting module and a power receiving module. The power transmitting module includes a transmission coil to send out AC power. The power receiving module includes: a reception coil to receive from the transmission coil at least a portion of the AC power; and a compensation circuit connected to the reception coil, the compensation circuit including at least one compensation element to counteract at least a part of a leakage reactance or an excitation reactance of a coil pair including the transmission coil and the reception coil.

Abstract: A wireless power and data transmission apparatus includes an inner module and an outer module. The inner module includes: an annular-shaped first antenna disposed around an axis; and an annular-shaped first communication electrode disposed around the axis, the first communication electrode being at a different position from that of the first antenna regarding a direction along the axis. The outer module includes: an annular-shaped second antenna disposed around the axis, the second antenna performing power transmission or power reception with the first antenna via magnetic field coupling or electric field coupling; and an annular-shaped second communication electrode disposed around the axis, the second communication electrode being at a different position from that of the second antenna regarding the direction along the axis, and the second antenna performing communications with the first communication electrode via electric field coupling.

Abstract: A wireless power feeding unit includes a power transmitting module and a power receiving module. The power transmitting module includes: a first inverter circuit which is connected to a power source via a switch; a first transmission coil connected to the first inverter circuit; a second inverter circuit which is connected to the power source or another power source not via the switch; a second transmission coil which is connected to the second inverter circuit; and a power transmission control circuit which controls the first and second inverter circuits. The power receiving module includes a first reception coil opposed to the first transmission coil and a second reception coil opposed to the second transmission coil. During operation of the first and second inverter circuits, even while supply of power to the first inverter circuit is stopped, the power transmission control circuit maintains control of the second inverter circuit.
