Abstract: A lighting system includes a first luminaire and a second luminaire which are arranged in an illumination area, and a controller. The first luminaire is connected to a first receiver which receives a signal from a transmission tag, and has a first lighting lamp. The second luminaire is connected to a second receiver which receives a signal from the transmission tag, and has a second lighting lamp. The controller turns on the first lighting lamp when the first receiver receives the signal from the transmission tag, then, turns on the second lighting lamp when the second receiver receives the signal from the transmission tag, and notifies that an abnormal situation has occurred when no signal from the transmission tag is received by the first receiver within a predetermined time period from the turning on of the second lighting lamp.

Abstract: A luminaire includes: a light-emitting module; a base having a front surface on which the light-emitting module is disposed; a cover which is translucent and covers the light-emitting module; a controller which is disposed on a back surface of the base and controls the light-emitting module; a first antenna which transmits and receives a first polarized wave; and a control wire which connects the controller and the first antenna. The control wire includes an exposed portion which is a portion of the control wire in a longitudinal direction of the control wire and which is disposed between the base and the cover to transmit and receive a second polarized wave that differs from the first polarized wave in a polarization direction.

Abstract: An illumination device is provided. The illumination device includes a substrate including a light-emitter. An instrument main body includes a substrate arrangement surface, with the substrate being on the substrate arrangement surface. A cover is attached to the instrument main body, covers the substrate, and is transparent. An antenna is on the cover and configured to receive a signal from an outside of the illumination device. A driver is on the instrument main body and configured to supply power to the light-emitter. A controller is configured to control the power supplied from the driver to the light-emitter based on the signal received by the antenna. The cover includes a diffusion factor from 40% to 90%.

Abstract: Luminaires in a lighting system have mutually different addresses. A setting device includes a communication unit that transmits an address request signal at a first transmission power level and a control unit that determines whether a total number of the addresses transmitted from one or more of the luminaires in response to receiving the address request signal is within a target range. The control unit instructs the communication unit to transmit the address request signal at a transmission power level different from the first transmission power level when the total number of the addresses is outside the target range, and executes pairing of the one or more of the luminaires that responded to the address request signal with a wireless controller when the total number of the addresses is within the target range.

Abstract: A lighting device includes: a communication unit configured to wirelessly communicate with a wireless device provided externally; a command receiver that receives a command from outside; a light emitter including a light source; and a controller connected to the communication unit, the command receiver, and the light emitter. The command receiver receives a wireless device specifying command that specifies the wireless device with which the communication unit is to wirelessly communicate. The controller tests wireless communication with the wireless device via the communication unit based on the wireless device specifying command received, obtains communication reliability information regarding the reliability of the wireless communication, and causes the light emitter to perform at least one of flashing, dimming, and toning based on the communication reliability information obtained.
