Abstract: The invention relates to a mounting device for adapting a Foley urinary catheter as a percutaneous endoscopic gastrotomy (PEG) catheter for enteral feeding, which comprises a clamp-type radial retention means that holds the catheter to prevent it from migrating into the patient's stomach cavity, said clamp being secured in its position by a locking button for coupling laterally to the catheter and by a perimeter closure ring that is pressed onto the outside of the locking button.
