    Abstract: An LLC resonant converter with variable resonant tank includes a switching circuit for converting a DC voltage into switching signal, a variable resonant tank coupled to the switching circuit for receiving the switching signal to provide a primary current, a transformer circuit having a primary and a secondary side winding, and a rectifying/filtering circuit to rectifying and filtering a secondary current. The variable resonant tank is coupled between the switching circuit and the transformer circuit, which includes a variable resonant inductor, a magnetizing inductance and a resonant capacitor coupled in series for dynamically adjusting the gain curve of the LLC resonant converter according to the demand of the output current.

    Abstract: A power supply system with automatic switchover voltage for vehicle control unit is proposed. The system comprises a supply communication module configured to communicate with a vehicle control unit, the supply communication module comprising a power supply module to provide power for a vehicle control unit; and a communication device coupled to the supply communication module for showing power supply status; wherein the supply communication module provides a first direct voltage and communicates with the vehicle control unit before supplying power, and if the supply communication module does not receive any message from the vehicle control unit within a first time interval, the supply communication module automatically switches to a second direct voltage from the first direct voltage or automatically increases the first direct voltage within a second time interval, and supplies power to the vehicle control unit; and wherein the second direct voltage is greater than the first direct voltage.

    Abstract: An LLC resonant converter includes a switching circuit for converting a DC voltage into switching signal, a resonant tank coupled to the switching circuit to receive the switching signal and to provide a primary current, a transformer circuit coupled to the resonant tank. The transformer circuit includes a plurality of separated transformers, each has a primary side and a secondary side windings disposed on the PCB, where the primary side winding of each transformer can be selected to couple in series or in parallel with the primary side winding of other transformers to form a dynamically varied equivalent primary side winding, maintaining the turns ratio to fine-tune the resonant tank. The gain curve of the LLC converter can be adjusted by electrically coupling an external excitation inductor, a resonant capacitor or a resonant inductor to the resonant tank, according to the demand of output current.

    Abstract: A method of intelligent power distribution for a charging system with double charging terminals is provided. The method of the present invention comprises the following steps, determining whether a first vehicle is requesting for charging or not. Then, the next step is determining whether a second vehicle is charging in the system or not. If the determination is affirmative, the first vehicle is then charged by remainder power modules. In the following, it is determining whether remainder power modules can be used for a second output terminal. Subsequently, it is determining whether the first vehicle needs more power by charging. If the determination is affirmative, the remainder power modules are charging to the first vehicle via the second output terminal.

    Abstract: A hardware together with a software are used to implement a control pilot (CP) status detection for protecting a DC charging pile when errors happens, such as short circuit or open circuit, at CP point. The circuit for detecting the abnormality of the CP point includes a detection circuit, which is coupled to a CP signal generating circuit of the charging pile to provide an abnormal state detection when an electrical vehicle is electrically connected to the DC charging pile, and output the detected CP signal to a control circuit. It includes a DC voltage converter that converts a DC input voltage into two DC output reference voltage levels, a rectifier circuit to filter out the negative potential of the CP signal generating by the CP signal generating circuit, and a CP signal isolation circuit, connected to the rectifier circuit to provide isolated CP signals to the control circuit.
