Abstract: A shooting device includes: a display unit which is provided with a plurality of display areas; an image pickup unit which acquires an image by capturing a subject; a display control unit which controls the display unit so that an image displayed in a display area in a plurality of display areas is changed from a live view image to an image acquired by the image pickup unit at the shoot instruction when a shoot instruction is received, and an image displayed on the display area specified by the cancel instruction is changed to a specified image when the cancel instruction that specifies the display area is received; and a combined image processing unit which combines image data of the plurality of images displayed on the plurality of display areas, and generates image data of a combined image which is laid out as being displayed on the display unit.
