Abstract:
An endoscope apparatus includes a detecting section to which an observation image of a subject is sequentially inputted, the detecting section being configured to detect a characteristic region in the observation image based on a predetermined feature value concerning the observation image, and an emphasis processing section configured to apply, when the characteristic region is continuously detected in the detecting section, emphasis processing of a position corresponding to the characteristic region to the observation image of the subject inputted after elapse of a first predetermined time period from a time when the characteristic region is detected.
Abstract:
An endoscope image processing apparatus includes a detection section configured to receive an observation image of a subject, to detect a feature region in the observation image based on a predetermined feature value for the observation image, and further to output a parameter relating to an erroneous detection rate of the detected feature region, a notification section configured to notify, to a surgeon, detection of the feature region in the observation image through notification processing and to generate a first display image including the observation image in a case where the feature region is detected by the detection section, and an enhancement processing section configured to generate a second display image in the observation image to allow the surgeon to estimate probability of erroneous detection from a display image in the case where the feature region is detected by the detection section.
Abstract:
An optical scanning type observation apparatus includes: a light source portion for supplying illuminating light; an optical fiber for guiding the illuminating light and emitting the illuminating light from an emission end portion; an actuator portion for displacing an irradiation position of the illuminating light by swinging the emission end portion; a control portion for controlling the actuator portion such that at least a first frame and a second frame are periodically obtained; an image generating portion for sequentially generating at least a first image in the first frame and a second image in the second frame; a motion detecting portion for detecting a motion of an image between different frames; and an image outputting portion for outputting one or both of the first and second images based on a motion detected by the motion detecting portion.
Abstract:
An endoscope system includes: an endoscope having a field of view in front of a distal end portion of an insertion portion; an insertion assisting instrument including a conduit having an inner portion through which the insertion portion can be inserted and an angle operation portion that varies an angle of a distal end portion of the conduit; an image generation section that generates an image corresponding to the field of view of the endoscope; a rotation angle calculation section that calculates a rotation angle indicating to what extent the insertion portion inserted through the inner portion of the conduit is rotated with respect to the insertion assisting instrument, based on the image generated by the image generation section; and an image rotation section that rotates the image so as to display the image, with the rotation angle being offset.
