摘要: Described is a transmission system (100 to 1000) including a data output unit (110, 210, 810b), for instance a camera operating within MRI environment. In an embodiment, a control transfer unit (812b to 812d) may manage the operation of the data output unit (110, 210, 810b), wherein the control transfer unit (812b to 812d) may be preferably located closely to data output unit (110, 210, 810b), e.g. mounted in vicinity of MRI device (192) or within a radius of less than 5 meters or less than 3 meters from the MRI device (192). The control transfer unit (812b to 812d) may have one connection or multiple connections to at least one additional secondary control unit, e.g. to sending and receiving units (250, 250b1, 250b2). Each of the sending and receiving units (250, 250b1, 250b2) and/or the control transfer unit (812b to 812d) may be capable of receiving the data from the data output unit (110, 210, 810b), send control data/signals and/or acknowledge control data/signals issued by other sending and receiving units (110, 210, 810b) and/or by the control transfer unit (812b to 812d). Each pair of optically coupled units may be connected via single optical fiber connection.
