摘要: An information generating device includes a control unit for causing a motor to rotate a pinion gear meshing with a ring gear while a predetermined braking force is applied to brake rotation of a turnable part of a wind turbine, thereby causing a fastening part to deform, where the fastening part is provided to fixedly attach the motor to a target part, a deformation amount obtaining unit for obtaining an amount of deformation experienced by the fastening part, and an information generating unit for generating correlation information indicating a correspondence between a driving torque of the motor and the amount of deformation experienced when the driving torque is used to rotate the motor.

In the embodiment described above, a driving device includes a driving device body that is provided in one structure at a movable section of a wind turbine and has a drive gear meshing with a ring gear provided in the other structure at the movable section, and an abnormality detection unit that monitors a force generated between the ring gear and the drive gear or the state of the driving device body or monitors both of the face and the state. Output from the drive gear of the driving device body to the ring gear is stopped when the abnormality detection unit detected an abnormality.-

摘要: A pinion of an output portion meshes with a ring gear of a wind turbine. A first friction plate is coupled to an output shaft of an electric motor at an end of the output shaft situated further from a speed reducer. A second friction plate contacts with the first friction plate and serves as a brake on the output shaft. Elastic members bias the second friction plate toward the first friction plate. Electromagnet biases the second friction plate in the direction in which the second friction plate is separated from the first friction plate. A detector detects a position and a displacement of a detection target portion fixed on the second friction plate. Based on a result of detection performed by the detector, operation of the second friction plate is detected and checked, and the wear amount of the first friction plate and the second friction plate is detected.

摘要: A wind turbine drive system includes a plurality of drive devices, a state quantity detection unit, and a control unit. The plurality of drive devices are provided in a first structure (a nacelle), and a ring gear is provided in a second structure (a tower). Each of the drive devices includes a motor drive portion, a speed reducing portion, and a motor braking portion for braking the motor drive portion. The state quantity detection unit detects a load between a meshing portion of each of the drive devices and the ring gear. Based on the thus detected load for the each of the drive devices, the control unit controls at least one of the motor drive portion and the motor braking portion so as to reduce a degree of variation in the load among the drive devices.
