Abstract: Embodiments of a method and an apparatus for wireless operations are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for wireless operations involves announcing, by a first wireless device to a second wireless device, capability parameters, wherein the first wireless device operates according to a first communication protocol and has a first bandwidth capability, and wherein the first wireless device operates according to a second communication protocol and has a second bandwidth capability that is narrower than the first bandwidth capability, receiving, at the second wireless device, the capability parameters announced by the first wireless device, and operating the second wireless device according to the capability parameters announced by the first wireless device.

Abstract: Embodiments of a method and an apparatus for multi-link data transmission are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method of multi-link communications involves at a first MLD that supports a first link, link1, and a second link, link2, transmitting a first frame during a first Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) on link1, and a second frame during a second TXOP on link2, simultaneously to a second MLD, receiving, at the first MLD, a first response frame to the first frame transmitted on link1 after a transmission end time of the first frame, identifying, at the first MLD, that a response frame to the second frame transmitted on link2 was not received after the transmission end time of the second frame, and transmitting, at the first MLD, a third frame on link1 and a fourth frame on link2 simultaneously, after receiving the first response frame on link1.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for operating a Basic Service Set (BSS) are disclosed. A method involves announcing, by a first wireless device to a second wireless device, a BSS operating channel, wherein the first wireless device has at least one of a first transmission power capability and a first bandwidth capability, the second wireless device has at least one of a second transmission power capability that is less than the first transmission power capability and a second bandwidth capability that is narrower than the first bandwidth capability, and wherein the BSS operating channel is at least one of a punctured operating channel and an unpunctured operating channel, associating, by the second wireless device, with the first wireless device via the announcement of the BSS operating channel from the first wireless device, and exchanging frames between the first wireless device and the second wireless device in the BSS operating channel.

Abstract: A first communication device transmits a null data packet (NDP) to multiple second communication devices. The NDP spans a channel frequency bandwidth. The first communication device receives a plurality of sounding feedback packets from the second communication devices. Each sounding feedback packet includes one or more signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) indicators corresponding to one or more respective groups of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) subcarriers, and the SNR indicators correspond to reception of the NDP at the plurality of second communication devices. Each sounding feedback packet in the plurality of sounding feedback packets includes a respective indication of OFDM subcarriers for which the sounding feedback packet includes SNR information, and at least one sounding feedback packet from among the plurality of sounding feedback packets does not include SNR information for all OFDM subcarriers via which the NDP was transmitted.
