Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for a driving apparatus including a reordering circuit and a source driving circuit. The reordering circuit can be configured to reorder a plurality of sub-pixel data of an input data string to generate a reordered data string so as to reduce a color switching number associated with a target data line. The source driving circuit can be coupled to the reordering circuit to receive the reordered data string. The source driving circuit can be configured to drive the target data line of a display panel according to the reordered data string.

Abstract: A driver circuit suitable driving a display panel is provided. The driver circuit includes a display driver circuit and a touch driver circuit. The display driver circuit drives the display panel to be operated in a first mode or a second mode. In the first mode, different areas of the display panel have different frame rates. In the second mode, different areas of the display panel have a same frame rate. The touch driver circuit is coupled to the display driver circuit. The touch driver circuit detects a touch event. When the touch driver circuit detects the touch event, the display driver circuit drives the display panel to be switched from the first mode to the second mode.

Abstract: Disclosed are a display apparatus and its display driving chip and method. A display area of the display panel includes a high refresh rate display area and a low refresh rate display area that are adjacent to each other. In a full refresh frame period, both the high refresh rate display area and the low refresh rate display area are refreshed with data. In a partial refresh frame period, data is refreshed in the high refresh rate display area and data is not refreshed in the low refresh rate display area. The controller controls the gate driver such that a boundary between the high refresh rate display area and the low refresh rate display area in a first partial refresh frame period is different from a boundary between the high refresh rate display area and the low refresh rate display area in a second partial refresh frame period.

Abstract: A display apparatus and a control device and a control method thereof are provided. A controller of the control device controls a gate driver of a display panel. The controller selects a first selected frame and a second selected frame in each frame group, wherein an adjacent position between a first partition and a second partition of the display panel corresponds to a corresponding time point in each frame of the first selected frame and the second selected frame. The controller transmits a reset pulse to the first gate driver at the corresponding time point in the second selected frame to clear a scanning pulse in the gate driver, and cancels the reset pulse at the corresponding time point in the first selected frame. Thus, the control device enables different display partitions of the display panel to have different frame rates or refresh rates.
