Abstract:
Various communication systems may benefit from information related to coordinated scheduling. For example, certain base stations may benefit from exchange of throughput profile information. A method can include determining a throughput profile for a group of user equipment in a cell. The method can also include reporting the throughput profile to a neighbor cell or central node.
Abstract:
Signaling Designs for Network Assisted Interference Cancellation and Suppression Signaling can be valuable in connection with addressing issues of interference. Signaling designs may be valuable, for example, in network-assisted interference cancellation and suppression. A method can include determining transmission information for at least one interference source for a user equipment of a base station. The method can also include signaling the user equipment about the transmission information for the at least one interference source. The transmission information can be configured to facilitate a receiver of the user equipment to cancel interference from the at least one interference source.
Abstract:
A technique including determining that a first access node serving a communication device is currently in a dormant, first state in which said first access node is not receiving radio transmissions; and controlling a radio transmitter or radio transceiver at said communication device to transmit a radio signal that triggers at least one second access node to alert said first access node of a request for said first access node to switch from said first state to a second state in which said first access node receives radio transmissions.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products relating to coordinated scheduling with adaptive muting are provided. One method comprises transmitting, by a network element, calculated impact information for a cell of the network element when taking an action related to a cell of the network element and/or taking an action related to a cell of a second network element. The method may also comprise transmitting a request for taking the action related to the cell of the second network element under certain circumstances
Abstract:
The present invention addresses method, apparatus and computer program product for dynamic cell clustering for Coordinated Multipoint operation. Clustering metric information defining relevant metrics for making cell clustering decision for Coordinated Multipoint operation are received from a network element serving a neighboring cell, and based on the received clustering metric information, it is decided whether to include the neighboring cell to a cluster for Coordinated Multipoint operation.
Abstract:
An example technique may include determining, by a user device, a reference precoding vector for each of a plurality of rank indications, selecting, by the user device, a rank indication of the plurality of rank indications for data transmission based on reference signals received from the base station and the reference precoding vector for each rank indication, sending, from the user device to the base station, the selected rank indication for data transmission, determining, by the user device, one or more channel quality indications (CQIs) for the data transmission based on the reference signals received from the base station, the selected rank indication and the reference precoding vector for the selected rank indication, and sending, by the user device to the base station, the determined one or more channel quality indications (CQIs) for the selected rank indication.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus can be configured to transmit a physical-resource-block muting request to a neighboring network entity. The method can also include transmitting at least one muting priority level for at least one physical-resource-block of the physical-resource-block muting request.
