Abstract: A system includes an authentication terminal and a server apparatus. The authentication terminal is an apparatus that can operate in different modes of operation corresponding to each of different procedure methods. The server apparatus includes a detection unit, a determination unit, and a mode control unit. The detection unit detects a waiting person waiting at a waiting area, where procedures are performed at the authentication terminal, using image data captured at the waiting area. The determination unit determines a type of the waiting person regarding the procedures to be proceeded with at the authentication terminal. The mode control unit instructs the authentication terminal to change the mode of operation, when the type of the waiting person is not consistent with a mode of operation of the authentication terminal.

Abstract: Provided is a management server that excludes a user who is not qualified to use a boarding system utilizing biometric authentication. The management server includes a receiving unit and a generation unit. Abstract: Provided is a server device that achieves highly accurate biometric authentication. This server device includes a management unit, and a processing unit. When a first user who has succeeded in authentication passes through the gate device, the management unit invalidates an entry of the first user stored in the database.
