摘要: An apparatus for assembling a hanging file folder and method is provided. A folder blank is received at a crimping station whereat a pair of prefabricated suspension rails are each dispensed from a respective hopper to folder a blank. Each one of the pair of suspension rails is dispensed to respective first and second opposed edges of the folder blank. The apparatus is provided with a folder rail dispensing system including plural pneumatically activated actuators for selectively separating a folder rail from a clip of folder rails held within the hopper and reorienting the folder rail into engagement with the folder blank. The folder rail is moved into engagement with the folder blank so as to be located within a gap defined by a hammer bar and an anvil bar, wherein the hammer and anvil bars crimp the prefabricated folder rail upon the folder blank.

摘要: A file folder and fastener combination wherein the folder has a major flap along one edge of the folder and a pair of spaced, colinearly aligned, elongated minor flaps formed in said folder or major flap and separated by a medial portion of the folder or major flap. The fastener has a central body portion overlying one surface of the medial portion of the folder or major flap. Elongated prongs extend from opposite ends of the central body portion of the fastener and overlie the minor flaps of the folder or major flap on the opposite surface of the folder or major flap from the surface upon which the central portion of the fastener is located. The major flap of the folder is folded against the folder and secured thereto so as to sandwich the central portion of the fastener between the folder and the major flap. Alternatively, instead of a major flap formed on one edge of the folder, the central body portion of the fastener may be covered by a separate strip of material.

摘要: The inputs of a web application are detected through a technique such as crawling, and then the characteristics of the inputs are determined. The characteristics are determined by identifying how the inputs react to various probes containing varying characters and varying numbers of characters. As such, the characters allowed by the input are identified, the maximum and minimum number of characters that are accepted and the manner in which the characters are treated by the web application. Further characteristics of the inputs are determined by examining the context of the inputs, the markup language associated with the input, the size of the input, etc. The knowledge regarding the input characterizations can be applied in a variety of settings.

摘要: A web application is more efficiently analyzed by identifying the sub-applications used to generate the various web pages available at the web application and then limiting the vulnerability assessment to just a subset of the web pages generated by each sub-application. The sub-applications can be identified by detecting similarity between the web pages, based on the user interface presentation, the inputs required or allowed, or both. For the user interface presentation, the markup language used to generate the user interface is reduced to common markup language elements by removing content, attribute values and white space and then determining the edit distances between the various pages. Small edit distance values indicate similarity and thus, likely generated by a common sub-application.

摘要: A manual binder for affixing a slide to the margin of a calendar or the like. The binder crimps a slide located between first and second crimping members upon the margin of a calendar. The slide and calendar are held by the first and second members and a third crimping member forms a bend in the slide. The slide and calendar are repositioned between the first and second members and the bend formed by the third member is crimped closed upon the calendar.

摘要: Calendars, posters and the like have slides applied to spaced top and bottom edges in an efficient and cost effective manner without diminishing production output levels nor requiring operator manipulation and involvement. The system includes a first and a second semi-automatic or automatic tinner which are joined together by a conveyor or a similar apparatus for transferring each of the serially processed calendars, posters or the like. Each calendar is processed in the first tinner to have a slide applied to a first or top edge of the calendar or poster. Each one is then serially discharged from the first tinner onto a conveyor in which the leading edge of the calendar includes the slide. The conveyor automatically transfers and reorients each calendar to the second tinner so that upon entering the second tinner, the bottom or opposite edge without the slide is the leading edge. The second tinner applies a slide without operator involvement or manipulation. The calendars are then discharged from the second tinner for stacking and further processing.

摘要: A web application is more efficiently analyzed by intelligently generating attack sequences to be used in the assessment. Rather than simply sending a canned list of static strings at a web application, the operation of the web application is analyzed to determine the filtering and acceptance characteristics of the web site. As this information is ascertained, a vocabulary of allowed symbols is created. This vocabulary is used in the building of attack strings and as such, the number of attack strings fired at the web application is greatly reduced, as well as the number of false positives.
