Abstract: An information processing device stores, in a keyword database, keywords extracted from speech sounds picked up by a speech-sound processing device as keywords matching keyword entries in a dictionary database of the speech-sound processing device. The information processing device receives, from the speech-sound processing device, an instruction to update the dictionary database of the speech-sound processing device, and then determines, by inference, words related to the keywords stored in the keyword database, prepares an update of the dictionary database on the basis of the keywords stored in the keyword database and the related words determined by inference, and transmits the update of the dictionary database to the speech-sound processing device.

Abstract: An electric double-layer capacitor having a capacitor element, a package defining a closed space accommodating the capacitor element, and electrolytic solution loaded in the closed space. The package includes a body and a lid, and the body has a metallic portion and a resin portion. The metallic portion includes two lead-out terminals electrically coupled to the capacitor element, and these two lead-out terminals are electrically isolated from each other by the resin portion. The resin portion includes two projections extending into the closed space, which make the closed space narrower and reduce the amount of loading of the electrolytic solution.

Abstract: An electronic component includes an external terminal member made of a conductive metal and an insulating section in contact with the external terminal member. The external terminal member includes an exposed portion which faces outside and which is located on the predetermined surface side thereof. The electronic component is fixed with solder applied to the exposed portion of the external terminal member. The exposed portion of the external terminal member is given by a base plating film made of nickel or a nickel alloy and an outer plating film which is placed on the base plating film and which is made of gold, tin, or an alloy containing at least one of gold and tin. The outer plating film includes a relatively thick region and a relatively thin region surrounding the relatively thick region.
