Abstract: A device includes a primary sector and secondary sectors communicatively coupled to the primary sector. The processor included in the primary sector is configured to down convert a Radio Frequency (RF) signals with a first frequency to an analog baseband (IQ) signal with a second frequency, and receive a second digital baseband signal that comprises a first digital baseband signal and a digital echo signal. The first digital baseband signal comprises a training sequence signal. Further, the processor estimates a plurality of filter taps of the FIR filter based on the digital echo signal and estimate the digital echo signal in the received second digital baseband signal based on the first digital baseband signal and the plurality of filter taps of the FIR filter. The estimated digital echo signal is removed from at least one current digital baseband signal based on the down conversion of the RF signals.

Abstract: An antenna system includes a first substrate, a plurality of chips and a waveguide antenna element based beam forming phased array that includes a plurality of radiating waveguide antenna cells for millimeter wave communication. Each radiating waveguide antenna cell includes a plurality of pins where a first pin is connected with a body of a corresponding radiating waveguide antenna cell and the body corresponds to ground for the pins. The first pin includes a first and a second current path, the first current path being longer than the second current path. A first end of the radiating waveguide antenna cells is mounted on the first substrate, where the plurality of chips are electrically connected with the plurality of pins and the ground of each of the plurality of radiating waveguide antenna cells.

Abstract: A communication device includes a first lens and a feeder array. The first lens has a defined shape, a base, a first tubular membrane connected to the base, and a second membrane arranged as a cap on the first tubular membrane. The feeder array includes a plurality of antenna elements that are positioned in a specified proximal distance from the base of the first lens to receive a first lens-guided beam of input radio frequency (RF) signals through the second membrane of the first lens. The first lens of the defined shape covers the feeder array as a radome enclosure. A distribution of a gain from the received first lens-guided beam of input RF signals is substantially equalized across the feeder array to increase at least a reception sensitivity of the plurality of antenna elements of the feeder array.

Abstract: An outphasing calibration method in an outphasing calibration RF transmitter comprises detection of differences of a first plurality of signal characteristics of a first plurality of amplified RF signals across at least a transmitter antenna and a plurality of load impedances. The first plurality of amplified RF signals corresponds to a first plurality of constant-envelope signals. Accordingly, at least a generation of a second plurality of constant-envelope signals and at least one signal characteristic of each of a second plurality of constant-envelope RF signals on a plurality of transmission paths are controlled. At least one of a first calibration or a second calibration of a second plurality of signal characteristics of the second plurality of constant-envelope signals is executed based on the controlled generation of the second plurality of constant-envelope signals and the at least one controlled signal characteristic of each of the second plurality of constant-envelope RF signals.

Abstract: An active repeater device includes a primary sector and one or more secondary sectors, receives a first beam of input RF signals. A first set of analog baseband signals, are generated based on received first beam of input RF signals. The first set of analog baseband signals are converted to a first set of coded data signals and control information is extracted from the first set of coded data signals by decoding only a header portion of the first set of coded data signals without demodulation of data portion of the first set of coded data signals. Based on the extracted control information, the first set of coded data signals are transmitted as beams of output RF signals to remote user equipment. The transmission is independent of demodulation of the data portion within the active repeater device to reduce latency for transmission of the first set of coded data signals.
