Abstract: An additive manufacturing apparatus for metal additive manufactured products supplies material of the metal additive manufactured products to a processing region, performs irradiation with a heat source that melts the supplied material, ejects a shielding gas to the processing region, and measures a temperature at a measurement point in the processing region. When the temperature at the measurement point during processing reaches a temperature set on the basis of an oxidation temperature of the material, a control device performs at least one of control of stopping the output of the heat source, control of reducing the output, or control of reducing the speed of movement or stopping the movement of the heat source moving in the processing region.

Abstract: An additive manufactured object is a stack including a first metal layer made of a first metallic material and a second metal layer that includes second dot beads made of a second metallic material. The additive manufactured object includes an intermediate layer between the first and second metal layers. The intermediate layer includes a first structural part as a structure made of the first metallic material and a second structural part as a structure made of the second metallic material. The first and second structural parts engage each other in a unit structure, and an arrangement of the unit structures arranged in the intermediate layer has translational symmetry in a plane perpendicular to a stacked direction of the first and second metal layers. The intermediate layer includes, at a junction interface between the first and the second structural parts, an intermetallic compound layer including an intermetallic compound.

Abstract: An additive manufacturing apparatus forms layers with a material that is molten to produce a formed object. The additive manufacturing apparatus includes a CMT power supply that supplies as a power supply current to heat a wire that is the material fed to a workpiece, to the material; a laser oscillator that produces as a beam source a laser beam that is a beam with which the workpiece is irradiated; and a head drive unit that shifts as a drive unit a feed position for the material on the workpiece and an irradiation position for the beam on the workpiece. The additive manufacturing apparatus shifts the feed position and the irradiation position, with the irradiation position leading in a moving path for the feed position in spaced relation to the feed position.
