    摘要: Optical touchpad includes a light source for emitting light of a specific wavelength, a specific-light sensing array for sensing the specific light after being reflected by an instruction object for accordingly generating a specific-light sensing image, a proximity detector for determining an instruction distance between the instruction object and the optical touchpad according to the specific-light sensing image, and a motion detector for determining path of the instruction object and then outputting a motion signal according to the specific-light sensing image. When the instruction distance is greater than a predetermined value, the motion detector is turned off.

The image sensor captures a plurality of images of the motion trajectory generated by a user at different timings.     摘要: A method for detecting an object and a touchable device are presented, which is capable of detecting an object having a fingerprint feature on an operation interface of the touchable device. An image sensor is used for acquiring acquiring an image on the operation interface, and the acquired image is converted into a signal denoted in a frequency domain by using a frequency conversion function. Signals at a medium-high frequency (MHF) signal region among the signals of the frequency domain are analyzed, so as to generate a first signal and a second signal according to a distribution of the signals of the frequency domain. The first signal indicates existence of the object on the operation interface, and the second signal indicates inexistence of the object on the operation interface.

    摘要: A lift detection method for an optical mouse and an optical mouse with a lift detection function are presented. An average brightness value of pixels captured by part of sensing units of an image sensor is computed after each scanning, and two average brightness values obtained from two adjacent times of scanning are compared, to determine a brightness change of the pixels in each scanning, thereby acquiring a placing state of the optical mouse accordingly.

    摘要: A method for setting and adjusting light emitted from an adjustable lighting device is disclosed. The adjustable lighting device includes a timing unit and a non-volatile memory (NVM) module for storing a record data which includes a memory flag changeable between a set state and a reset state, and a plurality of light setting values. In the method, the adjustable lighting device is configured to allow a user to select an illumination state of the light, and to change the memory flag in the record data to the set state and to store the record data with a corresponding one of the light setting values when a elapsed time counted by the timing unit is longer than a predetermined threshold time period.
