摘要： A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal display module, an integrated driving circuit, and a power supply circuit. The integrated driving circuit is used for driving the liquid crystal display module to display video frames according to a video signal. The integrated driving circuit includes a pulse width modulation (PWM) control circuit for generating N PWM signal sequentially, where N is a positive integer. The power supply circuit is employed to output N DC voltage signals sequentially. A part of the N DC voltage signals is applied to the liquid crystal display module and another part of the N DC voltage signals is applied to the integrated driving circuit.

摘要： A video processing chip capable of adjusting aspect ratio and a method of displaying an image thereby are provided. The video processing chip outputs an adjusted image signal according to a video signal to an LCD panel to display an image. The video processing chip includes a video processor, a ratio detector, a timing controller, and a multiplexer. The video processor generates an image signal according to the video signal. The ratio detector detects the aspect ratio of the video signal, and outputs a ratio control signal according to a ratio setting value. The timing controller outputs a vertical blanking signal, a horizontal blanking signal, and a blanking data in responding to the ratio control signal. The multiplexer selects the blanking data signal or the image signal as the adjusted image signal to be outputted, so that the displayed image has the aspect ratio corresponding to the ratio setting value.

摘要： A programmable Gamma circuit and display apparatus therewith are provided, wherein the programmable Gamma circuit includes a controller and a plurality of gamma units. The controller receives a control signal externally, and outputs a plurality of Gamma setup signals. Each of the gamma setup signals is comprised of a plurality of bit signals in digital form. The control signal can be transmitted via I2C or 3-wire interface bus according to one preferred embodiment in this present invention, so as to reduce number of pins to the driving circuit (IC). Each Gamma unit receives a gamma setup signal, and outputs a corresponding Gamma voltage signal accordingly.
