One example provides a display device comprising a light source, a scanning mirror system configured to scan light from the light source, and a controller configured to control the scanning mirror system to scan the light by synthesizing in a time domain a mirror control waveform that comprises a linear scan portion and a retrace portion stitched to the linear scan portion, the mirror control waveform being continuous and having an arbitrary timing that is adjustable by the controller between scan cycles.

    摘要: A piezo MEMS mirror system that includes a drive system that drives a piezo MEMS mirror that generates an image on a portable device display. The drive system includes a DC-AC converter that operates to convert the DC power provided by the battery to AC power. The DC-AC converter may generate the AC power having a peak voltage that is at an intermediate level—being between the DC voltage of the battery, and the peak AC voltage generated by the drive system. The drive system also includes an output filter that uses a series-coupled inductance system (perhaps inductively coupled inductors in a differential mode circuit) in conjunction with a capacitance of the piezo MEMS mirror (and perhaps tuning capacitors to account for mirror fabrication deviations) to amplify the AC voltage of the AC power at a mechanical resonant frequency of the piezo MEMS mirror.

    摘要: A power regulator circuit includes an input node, an output node, a power converter, and a control loop. The power converter is operatively intermediate the input node and the output node and includes a switch and an inductor. The control loop is configured to control operation of the power converter to regulate the flow of electrical power from the input node to the output node. The control loop is operatively connected to the switch and the output node. The control loop takes advantage of a mirror of an error current that is based on an output voltage of the output node. The mirror of the error current modifies a sensed inductor current of the inductor during load transients to speed up a transient response of the power converter.

    摘要: A system for a rechargeable battery pack includes one or more lower voltage cells connectable to a charging circuit via a lower voltage terminal and one or more higher voltage cells electrically coupled in series to the one or more lower voltage cells via a bi-directional charge regulator. A higher voltage terminal is electrically coupled to the one or more higher voltage cells, and a common ground terminal is coupled to the one or more lower voltage cells and to the one or more higher voltage cells.
