摘要： A data center includes one or more racks, one or more computing devices coupled to at least one of the racks, and one or more air moving devices. The computing devices include heat producing components. The computing devices may be inclined in the rack such that the lower ends of the computing devices are at a lower elevation than the higher ends of the computing devices. The air moving devices can move air from the lower end of the inclined computing devices to the higher end of the inclined computing devices such that heat is removed from heat producing components in the inclined computing devices.

One or more air directing devices are coupled to the rack system on the first side of the rack system or the second side of the rack system. At least one of the air directing devices includes a duct having an upwardly increasing interior cross section over at least a portion of the height of the duct. The duct segregates air passing through the duct from air outside the duct. The air directing device may include a louver that couples to the rack system. The louver may include one or more airflow control members that allow air to pass through the louver.

The Y-connection includes an input, a primary output, and a feed output. The set of electrical power lines supplies electrical power from a power source to the electrical systems through the primary output. To establish a feed for maintenance or reconfiguration of the power feed, power is fed from the power source through the feed output of the Y-connection to the electrical systems while power is being supplied to the electrical systems through the primary output.
