摘要： A device (100) for cleaning and method of cleaning an endoscope distal end (128) is disclosed. The device (100) may include a sealed longitudinal chamber (110) that may contain a porous structure (132) with fluid, and a brush and a spring (121) loaded brush. A removable substantially airtight closure (146) may be removed to allow an endoscope distal end (128) to be placed into the longitudinal chamber (110) and contact the porous structure (132) and the brush prior to a full cleaning, thereby preventing contaminates from drying and hardening on the endoscope distal end (128) prior to a cleaning and sanitization process. The spring (121) loaded brush may be moved to clean portions of the endoscope distal end (128) including cavities such and tools including an elevator or lifter. A cap may be removed from a airtight connector (120) and a fluid source may be connected to the airtight connector (120) to assist in the endoscope (127) cleaning process.

摘要： A portable disinfectant transfer system for transferring a toxic and/or noxious fluid between a container and a reprocessor reservoir includes a container for containing the fluid, a pump having a conduit for drawing the fluid from the reservoir and expelling the fluid through an opening of the conduit into the container and an opening in the container for receiving a neutralizing chemical into the container simultaneously with the expelling of the fluid from the reservoir into the container to provide a simultaneously introduced neutralizing chemical. The opening of the conduit is positioned to produce a swirling motion of the fluid within the container to mix the simultaneously introduced neutralizing chemical with the fluid while the fluid is expelled into the container. A further pump having a further conduit is provided for drawing the fluid out of the container.

摘要： A device for cleaning an endoscope is disclosed with a hollow body having a distal end, a proximal end and a longitudinal axis therebetween and having a plurality of medially positioned holes through said hollow body. The device may also have an angled partial end positioned adjacent to the distal end. The angled partial end may have an aperture and a connector configured to connect a supply of fluid to flow through said aperture. The aperture may be obliquely angled to direct said supply of fluid into said hollow body. The hollow body may have an opening at the proximal end to allow said endoscope to enter said hollow body and to be cleaned by the flow of fluid through the aperture.
