摘要： A child-resistant container for holding an item includes a housing and a tray that is pivotably connected to the housing for pivotable movement between a closed position in which the tray is in the housing for preventing access to the item and an open position in which the tray extends out of the housing for exposing the item. A latch in the form of a flexible member is connected to the tray and is biased to engage the housing when the tray is in the closed position. A lock assembly is connected to the housing and is engageable with the tray when the tray is in the closed position. In use, the tray is secured in the closed position by the latch and the lock and is angularly displaceable from the closed position to the open position upon the simultaneous application of a first force to the latch, a second force to the lock and a torque to the tray.

摘要： A composite medicament container including a vial to contain a dry powdered medicament, an outlet opening in the vial, a Lyo-stopper closing and sealing the outlet opening, and a flexible liquid container to contain a diluent for the dry medicament. The liquid container has a discharge port having an ellipsoidal shape. There is a closure plug in the discharge port. The closure plug has an ellipsoidal configuration and a size to mate with the interior of the discharge port and be secured therein. The configurations and sizes of the discharge port and said closure plug co-act to provide an enlarged, closely contacting extensive scaling area. The vial opening has a circular external configuration so that the vial outlet opening and the liquid container closure plug are mateable. Also included is a composite interengaging and sealing means which is operatively attaching and sealing the containers in mated relationship for intermixing the materials therein.

摘要： A child-resistant container for holding at least one item includes a housing having upper and lower walls and a first tray pivotally mounted to the housing on a pivot axis. The first tray is pivotable between a retracted position in which the first tray is positioned in the housing and an exposed position in which the first tray extends from the housing. A second tray is pivotally mounted to the housing for movement between a retracted position in which the second tray is positioned in the housing and an exposed position in which the second tray extends from the housing. The first and second trays are adapted for holding the at least item. A common locking mechanism engages the first and second trays to releasably lock the first and second trays in the retracted position.

摘要： A tablet dispenser includes a housing formed by first and second shells defining a cavity therebetween. A blister tray configured to receive a plurality of tablets therein is rotatably attached to the housing. The blister tray is moveable between a closed position in which the blister tray is releasably contained within the cavity, and an open position in which at least a portion of the blister tray extends out of the cavity. An alarm unit activates at least one alert signal upon completion of a cycle period. The alarm unit is reset after the blister tray is accessed to dispense at least one tablet.

摘要： A cap and tube device comprising a tube having an opening terminating in a nozzle with an open end and having threads for rotational engagement with a cap. Also included is a check valve in the interior of the nozzle for permitting flow of tube contents substantially only out of the tube while preventing return flow of contents into the tube. The cap is sized to engaged the nozzle at its open end and has a closed terminal end having a first inwardly facing axially centered locating cup for engagement with the open end of the nozzle, and a second inwardly facing axially centered sealing cup for engagement with the open end of the nozzle to form a seal in the nozzle open end. Finally, the cap and tube have a cooperative ring and groove for locating the cap on the nozzle at the position where the sealing cup is in engagement with the nozzle and the ring and groove provide a signal upon full engagement of the cap and tube.

摘要： A combination of a cap and tube in which a tube has an opening terminating in a tapered nozzle with an open end. The nozzle has a first diameter proximate said tube and is designed for rotational engagement with a cap. The nozzle includes a ring with a diameter which is the largest diameter of the nozzle and is located at least a band width distance from the junction of the nozzle to the tube. The cap is sized to engage the nozzle at its open end and has a closed outer terminal end. The outer end of the cap includes an axially centered locating cup for engagement with the outer open end of the nozzle. This forms a first seal in a first position and a second seal in a second position which is closer to the outer cap end by the band width distance. The cap is designed for rotational engagement with the nozzle. At its nozzle engaging end, the cap terminates with a circumferential band having an axial width defining the above mentioned band width distance. The band has a frangible junction with the cap to permit removal therefrom. It also has a flange positioned to fit over the nozzle ring to fasten the cap to the nozzle. The cap can only be removed or moved to the second position when the band has been removed.

The head assembly and housing is made of dissimilar materials to facilitate relative rotation of the head assembly and housing and resist slippage when the shank exerts an axial force on the cartridge to seat it in the housing.
