    摘要: A pulse modulator generates a first pulse signal having a duty ratio which is adjusted such that a detection voltage which indicates the electrical state of an LED string to be driven matches a predetermined reference voltage. A first pulse signal is applied to a primary coil of a pulse transformer. A DC/DC converter includes a switching element the ON/OFF operation of which is controlled according to a signal that originates at a secondary coil of the pulse transformer. The DC/DC converter stabilizes an input voltage Vdc, and supplies the input voltage Vdc thus stabilized to the anode of the LED string.

    摘要: A hydrogen electrolysis apparatus includes a stack of unit cells each having a membrane electrode assembly sandwiched between an anode separator and a cathode separator. The anode separator has a first flow field which is supplied with water, and the cathode separator has a second flow field which produces high-pressure hydrogen through an electrolysis of the water. The cathode separator also has a first seal groove defined therein which extends around the second flow field and a first seal member inserted in the first seal groove. The first seal groove and the second flow field are held in fluid communication with each other through passageways. The passageways keep the first seal groove and the second flow field in direct fluid communication with each other in bypassing relation to the boundary between the cathode separator and a solid polymer electrolyte membrane.

    摘要: In a liquid ejection apparatus, common liquid chambers adjacent to each other and connection passages extending from the adjacent common liquid chambers are separated by a partition wall. The partition wall has a first side surface and a second side surface opposite the first side surface. The first side surface define one of side surfaces of the common chamber and one of side surfaces of the connection passage extending from the common chamber. The second side surface defines one of side surfaces of the other common chamber and one of side surfaces of the other connection passage extending from the other common chamber. The partition wall has a curved surface connecting the first side surface to the second side surface in a vicinity of a position where the connection passages having the partition wall placed therebetween are connected to each other. A curvature of the curved surface is larger than a curvature of an arc having a diameter equal to a width of the partition wall.

The vibration plate is arranged such that the vibration plate covers 10 pressure chambers and two manifolds, and on a lower surface of the vibration plate, in an area overlapping with the two manifolds, a recess having a cross-sectional shape of a taper is formed. Due to the recess, a pressure wave which is propagated to the manifold can be attenuated assuredly.

    摘要: A battery is charged by using in series a constant-voltage DC power supply with current limit function and a constant voltage circuit which has a differential comparator circuit and whose current limit value is variable. Following a period of charging with the current of current limit value by the constant-voltage DC power supply, a period is provided in correspondence with the state of charging of the battery, for charging with a current limit value of the constant voltage circuit which is smaller than that current limit value. The detection of the charging state of the battery is effected by a comparison between a current value of a current source of a differential comparator circuit and a differential output of that differential comparator circuit. It enables to reduce electric power consumed by the control transistor of the constant voltage circuit and to reduce the allowable loss required for the control transistor.
